Hey y'all, here's my tutorial for how to do a Webster. The Webster is a one-legged front flip, also known as a front aerial. In this video, I break down the flip into 5 parts - the run, the hop, the takeoff, the rotation, and the landing. I hope y'all enjoy! Keep tricking and stay flippin' awesome.

I think it's important to note that not everyone is going to have the mobility and proportions to get into the very deep lean you exhibit in your lunge. Someone with a longer torso in proportion to their legs, and tight hamstrings won't be able to do it. Still, it's possible to do a similar lunge just with more of a "high webster" style i.e. not leaning down below parallel with your upper body but keeping it a bit more upright. The downside of this is of course that you have less room to kick, but it allows you to have a pretty high center of gravity

Thanks!! Some of these tips apply, but the front aerial is a lot more like a front walkover without the arms! I'm no front aerial expert, but I believe that your head trails to help provide the "arch" in the back.

I have a question, does practicing flips and tricks stunth growth? I mean with these impacts does it have negative impact on the bones? maybe a long term effect? I know you started young with flips and tricks. What is your opinion about this ?
@ChristopherTungFlips
@ChristopherTungFlips 6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I haven't really done my research on this topic, haha. However, I personally believe that doing flips on softer surfaces like soft grass shouldn't shock your growth plates. I started doing flips around age 12-13, and I don't think it stunted my growth.

My webster is from my right leg and my cartwheel is from left do you have any tips ab how to do webster to cartwheel with problem like mine? Ive been struggled a lot with this.. thanks if you answer :)
@yareyare1584
@yareyare1584 6 жыл бұрын
Easy solution....just train more on the side you want to have consistency with. Parsimony would dictate that you should probably get that cartwheel on the right leg. Honestly it makes no sense that your cartwheel would be superior on the left cause the webster set up is similar. Just train the right cartwheel more.

@jerrellforde6616
@jerrellforde6616 6 жыл бұрын
sam Hey man what's up? I would say if you can't already, learn a back handspring and/or a one hand back handspring. If you already know how to do that, why not add to your backflips by learning cast aways and variations to it. All the best man, cheers.
@ChristopherTungFlips
@ChristopherTungFlips 6 жыл бұрын
Jerrell had a pretty good recommendation! I'd say you could learn a round-off, so you can combo/tumble. You could also learn front flips, aerials, or side flips!
