Great stuff, guys! Since I left the dojo in California and relocated to Mexico, I´ve been maintaining the art almost exclusively by reviewing your online street version course and popping in for an occasional update like this one. Thank you for your dedication to providing this material in a fun and effective way.😀🥋

Long time ago when I was a kid taking Karate classes, my instructor gave me some great advice that I`ve ALWAYS remembered when I`ve gotten in2 confrontations and that was to "Take advantage of your opponent`s disadvantages" and also the Asian proverb that "The best defense is a good offense"

Im 5'1 and the techniques that usually work for me is Hiji-otoshi, Shihonage, and the breathing throw coming from a yokomen. From Munetski: Kotegaishi, Hiji-otoshi, and sayonage are the most reliable ones from me. And from katate dori, ikyo, nikyo, and Hiji-otoshi, and iriminage.

just act like you're going for the nuts, then quickly give a palm uppercut twice, second time with follow thru. You can still kick them in the nuts when they're on the ground, if you want to.

I've got 40 years experience- in bodyguard (fed), law enforcement, millitary- and high ranking black belt in 5 arts.. and I speak only for myself now- but I say BIGGER IS EASIER!!!! People fear someone bigger- and that's BS-- they're EASIER. 1- they move slower 2- targets a LOT easier to hit 3- they are more liminted in tight space than you.. and MORE-- they're just EASIER..

The position you put yourself in at 3:30 is very dangerous in a street fight, especially against someone who knows how to grapple. The setup you are using is meant to be a hip throw, so if you haven't already achieved kuzushi (i.e., gotten uke's feet off the ground) at that point, you are basically leaving yourself wide open for all sorts of nasty counters.

Who says ya' have to WIN...Just RUN!!! It would be very easy to SCREW UP that move you offered---and the 'guy might be quicker than you antis- ipated--- Bottom line....you're SCREWED! The only technique that I trust ( if you have quick legs, like me), is shooting a lightening fast side-thrust kick to the guys kneecap. Even a freakin' ELEPHANT can be taken down with a hard, quick thrust to the KNEE JOINT. Nuff' said!
