Really good. Although you hear this often, that people need to listen more. Your example was perfect. However, there is a large group of people watching this who listen too much, and don't talk enough. Guys, you have to strike a balance. I think that's very key. How can anyone begin to like you, or feel relaxed enough to talk with you if you don't talk enough. Remember that.

+Xraid32 Yes indeed - There is a balance. We need to listen more than we talk, but we do need to talk as well :)

You/the book said everyone wants to feel appreciated. What are your thoughts on talking to famous people who are always showered with compliments? How can we have an effect on them?
@2000Books
@2000Books 8 жыл бұрын
Great question - The key is "GENUINE" appreciation. People want to feel that you genuinely appreciate something about them. The other key to working with anyone who is famous in your frame of reference is to treat them as EQUAL (equal to you). Nobody likes suck-ups or people who are just trying to get something from them.
