Love that Stagger is removed but Jesus Vader can only have 8 swings Grievous has 5. Make them one hit for all Troops including Heavy. It's a Laser Sword that cuts through metal, like it isn't a pool noodle.

If they used the blaster blocking animations for the saber blocking animations, it would be the closest thing to cinematic looking battles we ever had

Dice needs to add a 1v1 SABER game mode, similar to how For Honor has a 1x1, 2x2, and a 4x4 (altho their 4x4 is more like capture the flag) Edit: Another thought, you could choose from any Hero/Villain rather than being limited so its not so 1 sided

I’ve only been playing the game for a week or so and I can already tell this system is so much better! I genuinely had an epic duel in heroes vs villains for the first time because we were both outplaying each other

Nice work! 🎉 Dodge is very import but every time you do a quick dodge from enemy atack you left behind your "image" and the enemy can attack you anyway, sometimes you are even dragged back... they need to fix this because it's a nightmare in HVV.

A blaster vs lightsaber video would be great, I find that, contrary to what you would think, the best way to kill jedi is in close quarters combat by rolling through their sabre strikes, they often mash and end up exposing their backs for a second or two. I find that the flametrooper is great for this

I love how they made the count, in lore he had the lightest light saber and unmatched skills in saber fighting making him the most feared 1v1 fighter there was until he was ultimately beaten by Vader, personally he was and always will be my favorite for the simple fact he never succumbed to the darkside while still being a complete boss even against the greatest fighters like windu and even yoda

Who else was expecting a more stylish blocking animation? I was hoping it would be more fluent and smooth but they just hold it in one place. Also lol, when luke kicks the lightsaber it doesnt chop his foot off but its funny to imaging

I guess stamina reduce skills are useful now since you can block all enemy attack until they run out of stamina, then you can finish them off with your leftover stamina.

So I was playing capital supremacy and as Yoda I dodged forward when to avoid darth mauls spin attack but I ran straight into it and it BLOCKED darth mauls spin attack you should do a mythbusters episode on it

Yes! We need more videos like this! I am a good player but I don't have a ton of time to sort out all the changes and this really gives me a heads up. Would also be nice to know how the stamina cards change things as I have never used them always feeling like it was a bit of a waste of a card. The good news for me is that this change lends towards my play style. I am more of a dodge/striker and not a spam blocker/attacker. Looks like it is best to use a balance of all options available (abilities, dodge, limited strike and limited attack), so I will keep that in mind.

I absolutely hate that you can't attack with depleted stamina. You should still be able to attack once your stamina runs out, but face some penalties such as: *Deal less damage *Stagger when hitting a blocking hero *when attacking an blocking Hero with no stamina, the blocker's Stamina cost when blocking is reduced

It’s wouldn’t be so hard to watch your stamina if they didn’t change it from being a circle around your reticle to a line at the bottom of he screen

I just recently discovered you and think your videos are pretty good. I love the aesthetic of how you do some of your guides and love how you present the numerical information in heroes and villains guides. Also what I noticed from this new stamina system Kylo Ren has received an indirect buff because he easily has the highest attack stamina and his frenzy doesn’t drain stamina. KYLO ALL POWERFUL 💯💯

YES PLEASE! Idk if it’s just because I’m so used to the old lightsaber combat but, every lightsaber hero/villain is no longer blocked (knocked down) by the enemies block. Also you can keep attacking until your stamina goes down, like general grievous and yoda

This change helps a lot as a blaster main, knowing saber heroes can't spam saber strikes and stun-lock you is really nice. Makes my Phasma/Boba/Han/Leia/Iden/Lando gameplay a lot easier.

This is why I love playing Kenobi, his defensive style suits this new system brilliantly. Never lost a duel as Obi-Wan yet.

I am not really sure about this changes, and yesterday i tried hvV for a very long time and i feel many things need to be tweaked, some blaster heroes now are very very powerful and can one vs one saber heroes (like han) rei is dangerously good, kylo in my mind lost a lot, maul lost a real lot of power, anakin is way too strong and lvl 4 star card anakin 3 shots a hero from behinf with 2 strikes and a passionate and That's just way too much damage in an unblockable combo...grivious lost quite a bit especially with the stamina drain starcard...He runs out of stamina way too fast! I tried it extensively in arcade and even against troopers one person with a blaster can shred through your stamina without even overheating...they should have balanced more the heroes around the changes in my opinion

I also find that alot of hero players have the same tactics on certain maps, like how lukes will always try to push you off edges, and your opponents think you will be the same too, so youve gotta try be unpredictable

Finally someone mentioned how important and crucial dodges are in saver combat. Dodging behind a blocking opponent and attack them in the back is the only way I know of to counter block spammers. I feel like players shouldn’t be able to dodge if they’re blocking though.
