For someone confused, Its like this The golden prong on switch is NEUTRAL (minuss) center is Live Output, and Top is LIVE Input, So for light to work, u take NEUTRAL from Light and Battery togheter and put in Golden prong, In Middle u put Light + Pluss wire, and Top is ur Live from Battery , Done .

yeah i just wired one up the switch should be wired in the whole unit so you can turn the unit on or off

You are confusing everyone with this convoluted approach to working this panel! It is meant to allow the switch to turn on/off the entire panel...otherwise the unit will be constantly draining your battery! Your install is not as intended!

The switch is meant to operate the whole unit, Brutal sums it up..

Me and my dad watched this to wire a light switch and was so confused he blew my switches up twice. I’d say edit the video and remove any unwanted footage that’s not required to do the job. 18. Mins long and various wrong attempts just add to the confusion. Edit it down to 5

That's because he's wired it all wrong, the centre is common live, the same colour spade is the switch live that goes to the panel and the bronze coloured third spade is the negative, you need this otherwise the lrd light won't work

Hi fella,, the switch turns all the panel off,, when you was switching off, it was only the switch light that went out....did you sort it to turn everything off....?

Is the switch not for the whole unit all together? I bought one but the switch is 3 prong to begin with. I thought the switch was used if you wanted to turn it on to use the USB or 12v hook up. And if you didn’t you use the switch to turn everything off. Am I wrong? Or you simply wanted to use the switch for lights instead so went that route?

Which way from the color eye going down are the terminals. I have the same switch

Hardwire battery live to switch Split switch wire to live using spade to product live or 1B: connect the live further back on switch wire and shrink wrap 👍 save and maintain battery life. Tho. Which I laugh at most is people saying about battery life! If the vehicle is being driven on a daily basis then a straight connection to battery means nothing forbidding there’s a fuse inserted in line to live.
