So with me having 3 dvc 2 ohm subs, if I were to strap 2 amps and run it in series parallel what would the amps see final ohm load?

Oh and I can only go down to 2ohms clamped, although I have pulled em down to 1 ohm no problem on music for a breif session and no farther than that lol.

I’m running a Taramps 8k on 2 SQ HDC4 18s in my truck I got a 300amp alt and a xs d3400 and a 124ah Agm in the back. I really appreciate the box specs list you made for all the SQs. Do you think I will see better results with a SQ 4500 or with my 8k???Thanks

Nicebuild by the way. Right now i currently am running 1 soundqubed 4.5k on 2 18 in zcons.I just bought 2 more 4.5k to strapp together on two 15 in orion hcca spl versionnsubs.

When u play down n the 20'a with such a low impedance. u don't have issues with protection circuitry? my 12k is running at 0.4 i can play full power up until 30 hz, and below my amp will kick out. or even when I get a really fast kick of bass it will shut down I know half is low but 0.4 isn't much lower, u ever experience these problems I don't have a cheap amp by any means

Codeman I've got absolutely no box rise but I have five subs when I meter the terminals I always got rise with my old boxes this one I get absolutely nothing

Codeman I am grounded to a bar that holds my rear seats down and then they r grounded to my batteries as well as the volts that hold down all my seats that r thru the frame

Codeman I wired up five dual ones knowing I had a low impedance and hoping the subs would raise at least a tenth on the box rise and it did absolutely nothing never had that happen when I wired them to a single amp eaxh they rose 0.5-0.75 so a quarter ohm they rose

They only lasted a year, they came out in 16 i got mines last year. 3 months later they were off the market

The 4500s are $500 and sundowns amps are almost double that Quantity over quality or just over priced

They were almost the same price, the 3500s were like 700 new and the 4500s were 800, I have 2 7ks. Wish I would have bought them around black Friday so I ended up payin 1500 for each

Lei Free 3500 guess is discontinued... watched a video showed they like hifonics inside I wouldn’t get a sound qubed amp

David Arndt that was a comparison to the sq2200 vs hifonics 2400. The sq has better internals but they are similar. U can run sq on .5 ohm daily try that with a higonivs and see how long it last.. Ive have my 7k doin 9600 on 16v for almost a year
