ITIN means individual Taxpayer identification number, given by immigration to foreigners to work temporarily. I learnt it's very effective in New Jersey and Philadelphia to do things, eg work, drivers license etc.

Priscilla, excellent information you brought for us. Please, see with you could help me with a light. I did the CNA course, but to apply for get the exam to be licensed the board doesn’t accept the form without Social Security Number. As a Student Visa I don’t have the Social Security Number. And now? I’m paralyzed.

With a student visa you can work 20yrs a week, apply as a patient care technician some states do not require certification but only few weeks course and training

These are two different things. CGFNS is for your nursing credential evaluation, this video is about a nursing assistant job. You can embark on both journeys

@@priscillakumahrn I would love to hear about a foreign trained LPN migrating to the US starting from the CGFNS to the nursing board. When I went into the CGFNS website, it didn't seem like foreign trained LPN needs their credentials checked. Maybe I had it all wrong. I will also love to go to a state that doesn't require ielts test.

There was this guy, I dont know if you were presenting with nanelle but there were some clips that showed a non nursing background was eligible if they had a degree but the training would be done in your home country before migrating....am searching and cant find it.
