1st - decide longest chain . 2nd - closer to functional chain. 3rd - closer to side chain.

Sir, a doubt, at 23:03 you have named the compound "2,2-dimethyl hexane" shouldn't it be "2,3-dimethyl hexane". Pls answer.

Its quite easy replace h with oh you'll get alcohol . Replace h with o you will get aldehyde or ketone( depending pn the position though) and replace three hydrogen atoms with one oxygen and one hydroxide atoms you will get caboxylic acid
