i like to keep it short, simple and to the point .. as for marketing myself , i do that at the beginning of the video for 4 seconds asking for subs and like 8 seconds in the end (if peeps watch till the end) ..other than that in the video some non-obstructive silent sub requests .but yeah you wont find a 5 minute video, wherein first 2 minutes are asking for subs and talking BS on my channel..thats not how i roll..

munchy I would have adjusted it but I didn’t want to obviously it is a hassle plus it is very much annoying The microphone volume can be adjusted from the kernel, After flashing a custom ROM, Just out of curiosity What do you think about Nokia’s 8 Sirocco when it comes to audio? Perhaps I might get the mix three Obviously I am based in Australia so that is why I am having a hard time with this brand also, in 20 days I had to sell the phone In a loss of $70

I never owned any of Nokia Android phones so I cannot comment on that, and neither have I researched on the mic quality. From what I have read iPhone and new LG's have best mic quality. I would suggest checking on xda for device you looking to purchase. They have a q&a sub-forum where you can ask about it if you dont find anything. Another place where you can get great info is reddit. they have sub-reddits and Xiaomi's sub-reddit is very active.

Hey munchy! love your content my man! quick question though, I already unlocked my bootloader but I really haven't waited for 72 hours yet and I booted to fastboot again to check my status with the Mi unlock tool and it said that my device is already unlocked, is it possible that they unlocked my phone instantly without me waiting for 72 hours? As I have said before, you are being too anal about it. If you are so worried about custom roms and twrp harming your hardware so should STAY AWAY from them. As for BEST ROM, thats a personal choice.

when the video was made, miui 11 didnt exist and yes, you should get update to MIUI 11 if you arent already on MIUI 11

so in my case,did all that you said and the unlocked logo appeared for a bit as well. But then the android logo below pocophone appeared and its been like that for the last several minutes. Am waiting now to see what happens but, I dont think it'll function. Any advice?

Hello munchy, I want to unlock my bootloader but after downloading the the phone drivers from xiaomi and extracting the zip, I cannot see the .exe file for installation. I even tried downloading them from another site and its still the same thing. Any idea why?

sorry, i have no clue why you wont have an exe file ...you can always use the version of mi unlock used in this video to install the drivers

What if i can not use my data connection because my poco have a problem on data connection.. The sim injector is okay but i think the components on signal anttena have a problem.. Sometimes it have signal like 4g but it can not receive a lot number of data (kbs) BTW... (cause of my poco broken before and i replace screen on it).. BTW.. Do you have other option if i can not use data signal connection to unlocked bootloader?

"Phone not connected" on the miunlock tool which I downloaded from the mi official website. even though I have connected it to all three type A ports in my lappy. I also tried the solution u gave to go to the gear(setting) icon and check for drivers, after few attempts it also shows "Mi drivers installed". So what are the other solution

you can downgrade to any MIUI build once you unlock bootloader ..there is no way of downgrading to a specific security patch "only"

i am reluctant to root because i am on the latest 10.2.2 MIUI and Pie. Which recovery do i use? Also, which decryptor to use? arent there any TWRP which decrypt automatically? and what about magisk? too many variables. too many things can go wrong

Hello dear, im running android pie. In 3:11 you have 1. 2. And 3. While on my device there are 4. And it says 'Turn off wifi and turn on mobile data. Make sure your device can connect to internet using mobile data' but unfortunately,i do not havr mobile data. So I cannot 'Add account and device'. Is it possible to unlock bootloader without 'Add account and device' ? Hope you can help me with this, as I am trying to install gcam. Thak you very much.

you can try without adding device, if it doesnt work then you will have to have mobile data. or create a new MIUI account with your email in which case it shouldnt ask for mobile data.

its not risky. it just wont work and unlocking bootloader will not result in a brick.

need to repeat the process again. just open the tool, boot into fastboot, connect and click on unlock. dnont need install drivers again if using the same computer.
