You guys need to make a HISHE for Elf where Santa decides to take baby Buddy to his father at the very beginning of the film rather then have him be raised by Papa Elf, and then when you flashforward to the future having to raise Buddy has made his father a nicer person and better businessman.

Tom Cruise used to fly his P-51 over Saddleback Community College when I was taking my summer courses there. It was incredibly surreal to see a P-51 zoom over the parking lot as I'm walking to class.

@@freestylepunk Maverick called the shot first, but then Iceman went for the position and took it out from under from Mav and Goose. Iceman forced a bad position and when he left, Maverick and Goose got caught in Iceman’s jet stream.

@@sabster79 I see where you're coming from. My interpretation is that Maverick forced Iceman to get out of the way to take a shot when Iceman took too long. Maverick's competitiveness was a big contributor to the accident. Hence, they were both to blame. Then again, I'm no flight expert and it's a movie so who knows... 😁

There are three or a mix of the three other endings. The escort ships firing their surface to air missiles at the jets, Maverick using beyond visual range missiles to engage the enemy and the aircraft carrier using the two other catapults since one wasn't working.

There should have been a scene or two of Maverick in an office handling paper work... after losing his wings for buzzing the tower, violating numerous regulations, etc.(there's a new video of legal problems with Top Gun with a lawyer and a JAG officer discussing the legal problems.) Or a scene of Migs attacking the carrier while everyone's cheering. Maybe with someone shouting, 'Why isn't the fleet defending us?' "What fleet?'(there should be a fleet of AA and ASW ships protecting the carrier.)

It’s 36 years later and still no one has realized that once you blow the canopy it is way behind by the time you get to to eject. The only way Goose could have possibly hit the canopy is if the aircraft was in a hover like the Harrier is able to do.
