Hello friends welcome to clgproject
Today in this video I will show you the sensors used in the back side of cars, how these sensors work, and how to use them. So let's begin.
Friends many types of sensors are available on the market, but in this video, we are going to look at this low-cost ultrasonic sensor and will understand how it works.
Friends two ultrasonic transducers are used in this sensor, both are looks exactly similar but work differently.
Here one transducer is the transmitter and the other is the receiver. The transmitter generates the Ultrasonic frequency. The ultrasonic frequency is above the human hearing range. The ultrasonic frequency is between 20kHz and a few GHz. But generally, all ultrasonic sensors work in the 40kHz range. This transmitter also generates waves of 40KHz frequency.
These waves start to run in one direction, when any obstacle comes between in the path of waves, waves reflect from the obstacle, and these reflected waves are not detected by the receiver.
Here wave takes very little time to flow from sensor to obstacle and again obstacle to the sensor, this time period is calculated by the sensor. And according to this time, the distance between the sensor and the obstacle is calculated.
Here we are using a simple formula
Distance = Speed x Time
Assume the distance between sensor and obstacle is L and as we know the speed of sound waves in the air is 340m/sec. Here We know the speed of the ultrasonic wave is also 340m/sec because the ultrasonic wave is also a sound wave.
If T time is required to flow the waves from sensor to obstacle and again obstacle to the sensor, then we can write T as Time.
Here one thing is considered that the distance traveled by the wave is 2L, not L. because waves travel twice from the sensor to the obstacle and then the obstacle to the sensor, so we can write 2L.
So friends range of these sensors is about 3 to 4 meters. So we can convert the meter into a centimeter. And second to microseconds.
Now we can see the traveled distance is time multiplied by 0.017cm
So guys we understood the basic working of this sensor, you can understand more about it when you try it by yourself with Arduino,
So friends this sensor is excellent for projects but not suitable for real-life products because these sensors are not waterproof.
Sensors used in the cars or Water level sensors look something like this. In this sensor, two different transducers are not used. The same transducer works as transmitter and receiver.
So guys now we are going to look, at where these sensors are used
1. In Car Reverse Parking: A total of 4 ultrasonic sensors are used on the backside of the car, these sensors give notifications about the obstacle to the driver.
2. Liquid Level Measurement: ultrasonic sensors are suitable for liquid level measurement because these sensors are durable and easy to install.
3. Except for these, ultrasonic sensors are used for distance measurement.
Your Queries
1. What is an Ultrasonic sensor
2. How Ultrasonic sensor works
3. Basic Working of Ultrasonic sensor
4. how to use the ultrasonic sensor in the circuit
5. Where to use an ultrasonic sensor
6. types of ultrasonic sensor
7. connection diagram of ultrasonic sensor
8. waterproof ultrasonic sensor
9. ultrasonic sensor interfacing with Arduino
10. Circuit Of ultrasonic sensor
in this video, I am going to show you about ultrasonic sensors so we can know What is an ultrasonic sensor and how to use ultrasonic sensors the working of ultrasonic sensors is very crucial to interfacing Arduino and ultrasonic sensors together because they the part of basic electronics and we can learn electronics, this video also describes the types of ultrasonic sensor and these sensors are used in the car reverse parking system and we will explain the working of sensors, in this way we will discuss what is an ultrasonic sensor and how an ultrasonic sensor working that is very useful to know ultrasonic sensor projects also we can say ultrasonic sensor Arduino and working of ultrasonic sensor is quite simple and we will also learn the working of ultrasonic flow meter and this video shows working of ultrasonic sensor animation and we will learn how ultrasonic works.
