Understanding what targets are the actual threats and tactfully zoning or diving them is the best move imo. I don't overly bully specific mons, but I will turn my attention to the better players.

Bullying specific players is absolutely a good tactic. Its a common tactic in mobas, especially if you see that a player is getting emotional. Tilting a player on the enemy team ruins the rest of the players motivation to give an easier win. Slimy? Yeah maybe, but its a tactic that works and being that mobas are an incredibly competitive genre of game, I see no problems with it.

There are some matches where you know who the carry is, and who to target. I don't do it out of spite, but If there's an attacker that is perma killing my 4 teammates, yes I am ulting them and getting rid of them on sight. That happens to me too, I'm playing the attacker / speedster and I get hunted down by 3-4 people, it's normal, it's an effective way to win a troublesome game by removing THE player giving you trouble. If it's done just because "oh it's this player" then yeah that's dumb.

It definitely changes things. Sometimes when I run through people and get them again they make it their business to shut me down which makes me useless until super late game. Pretty much, if they’re doing good oppress. If they’re doing good and squishy oppress them more.

I only target if I’m playing a character with a single target unite move, otherwise I generally treat my opponents the same because you never know that while you’re wasting your resources on one person one of the 4 other enemy members can do something about it.

Just played a game where I got HARD bullied. I had a Slowbro unite me, and shove me into a corner along with a blastoise who also united me, then Mewtwo Y piled on with psystrike into their unite… I was a Buzzwole so they absolutely identified the threat and moved surgically to annihilate me :(

Targeting one player while in a match either because their bad or they’re playing a squishy character is just a part of the game it’s just good strategy to do so especially with characters like Garchomp, Gardvior and any other late game Pokémon cause they can do some damage if you let them level up and evolve

Depends. If you know a certain character is a threat or has good secure agaisnt objectives, bully them. stuff them in a locker

For me it depends say if I’m playing tsareena and I know one enemy player is absolutely cracked on zoroark and carrying their team and their team will be significantly weaker with that player gone I’m targeting that zoroark with my unite move at every big fight

i mean, its not bullying if you're trying to keep a fearsome enemy under control if you can dive an attacker without dying yourself, you can eliminate their backline attackers and cut their damage. thats why you SHOULD bully things like decidueye, espeon or other incredibly strong attackers or mons with incredible range also, you should bully pokemon that need high levels out of leveling up if you can take esperience from gardevoir, tyrannitar and the likes, they'll stay in their worse base form for longer and reach their final form too late, thus making their usually excellent endgame more managable

I remember one game when I was playing mew and the entire time I was basically 1v4ing them. someone would be scoring and the other team literally would turn around to try and ko me retreating to my zones instead of stopping the score. It’s like bruh you’re not even trying to hide your agenda. Anyway jokes on them I stole ray with my unite move + electro ball cos they stupidly tried to rip with me returning from being ko’d

Yes absolutely, I have been here since launch so ik who the good players, and who's there just to make the team balanced, it's insane how much better both players on the left are from the rest of the team. My WR has skyrocketed the last few season once I realized, dying just to kill one player at ray wasn't worth it, cuz if you are truly a good player you will most likely be the highest mmr 95% of the time. Cuz once you go down at ray the game is more than likely over, but once u target there best player and take them down u feel more confident to wipe the rest of the them. That's what separates the best players, cuz this game throws everyone in bad matches, but some players are the sole reason there team wins thats why u see a 10 percent WR diff on the same team😂

Me whenever i play bottom path decidueye: The whole enemy team came both but my team at top is still not taking the initiative Whenever iam center decidueye:my own teammates invade me(especially cinderace, greninja)

If I see squishy mons on the enemy team, I just consider them dead at this point. I get rid of them first, and then we can push better.

I’m a firm believer of jumping certain Pokémon to not let them be great. I’m looking at you magikarp players.

If it ends with you not doing objectives or you feeding the enemy team, then targeting a player isn't helpful.

Being an attacker, I never really mind being targeted by fellow solo q enemies. But being hunted down by duo/trio is what pisses me off.

It's usually the squishys that don't know proper positioning. It might feel unfair to them, but what other choice so we have? Ignore the obvious advantage that they give?

Theres a big difference between bullying, and punishing. the biggest difference i'd say is how you do it. If the opponent makes bad plays and you punish them, that's on them, not you, not bullying. Your ally is a low lvl, and is struggling to farm and you intentionally steal their kills so they don't lvl fast enough? that's bullying. You aren't punishing your ally, you're intentionally hurting them.

I never try to bully people in game,but if they come at me full force and I keep beating them im gonna keep doing it because now its funny.

Its the best strategy to tilt one whole member of the enemy team, giving you essentially a 5v4, but at the same time people who do it all the time are dickheads and they know it.

Is it worth bullying 1 player? YES: If they're the best player on the enemy team or have a pocket heal on a busted mon. NO: If they're just a friendly Eldegoss who already scored and is trying to leave while you have farm up.

I try not to bully a single player, even if they are good. Actually, taking out good players too often can backfire during Rayquaza's fight, since their death timers will be a lot lower. Personally, I've experienced being targetted by a Mimikyu player. I was playing Miraidon, but please, keep in mind that I am not used to that Pokemon, so I was still figuring things out with it. I was not a very good player in our game due to this, so I wasn't anywhere near the biggest threat. Our jungler and Goodra took out more than I ever did. And for some reason, this Mimikyu had it out for me. I can only assume they wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible because I'm a Miraidon and no other reason. I was constantly getting shut down by Mimikyu's Unite move, I was always getting hit by its Shadow Sneak, and I have no way to fight back before I get KOed. And just to be clear so people don't think I'm overexaggerating, this Mimikyu completely ignored anyone else that was attacking it and went straight for me every single time. Please don't harass me by saying 'well you were playing a busted Pokemon, you deserve to get bullied.' I don't play Miraidon because it's busted, I just like MIraidon. I got attached to it when I played Pokemon Violet. There's being strategic in taking out the biggest threat, then there's just being petty because you don't like that Pokemon someone's playing. EDIT: I know playing Miraidon means people are likely to target me, please stop telling me this. I was mad and frustrated, and wanted to share my experience. At the very least, I wanted to hear if anyone else had a similar experience. I didn't need a lecture on how I shouldn't play an EX Pokemon or whatever.
