I had a similar relationship experience as well, Morgan. A couple of months ago, I was dating this guy and I tried so hard to believe that he was the one for me but deep down I never had peace about it. Eventually my dad broke off the relationship and looking back I am thankful he did.

I love this series, the Lord is really using you guys in mighty ways. I went through an experience where the Lord was telling me “No” and I tried to look past the Lord and do my own thing, it was hard because the enemy was tempting me A LOT, but I’m so thankful to have a God that never turns his back on us even though sometimes we turn our backs on him.✝️🙏🏼 Great work Paul and Morgan💕✝️

Thank you for this. I’ve recently had God give me peace about the guy who is going to be my husband and He told me to be patient and follow Him and wait for His perfect timing, and I’ve been battling with fear of the enemy attacking me trying to tell me otherwise. But every time the enemy attacks I go straight to the Lords word and start praying and He gives me that peace all over again. 💛

WOW MORGAN, i have heard God's voice exactly the same way, i was in church and everything went silent, and then there was a calm gentle voice calling just my name 'BART' and it galmed through the church, i asked my mom (next to me) if she heard anything but she didn't! So now i cant deny God, so im that weird christian guy that somehow believes in a God when everyone in my town doesn't so thats quite a thing haha. But i love God so much and am very thankfull for Him doing that because it helped me through very difficult times. And it helped me shine the light of Gods Love around here in my town in the netherlands, thanks for telling your great story guys, God bless!!

my fiancé was a lil spoiled too bc he prayed for a girl and I even had the haircut he asked for, when we met, he asked for height, even bc he's short but I'm shorter!! But even more important than that, the Lord blessed us with a partner that cares about each other's soul and spiritual growth and we've been working together to build a strong relationship with God and between us

I just wanted to let you know I really liked this video. I've had a lot of anxiety and worry about the person I'm currently dating, when there seems to be nothing to cause it. My boyfriend seems to have a lot of peace about our relationship, and I don't; I go back and forth with being happy and then worrying/questioning. I cannot tell whether if it's because God is not giving me peace about it or Satan is attacking me like he did with Paul. So thank you Paul for sharing a little bit of your struggle with the devil in deciding to stay with Morgan (although more details would have been nice 😅) Thanks also for sharing my recent realization that sometimes God will just want you to chase after Him and not have an overly strong opinion about who you marry as long as you have the same main goals and beliefs in chasing after God.

God revealed to me this guy wasnt the one while reading the bible. I asked god if I schould continue the relationship or not, randomly opened up the bible and the verse said really clearly I should focus on god and not give in to wanting to be loved by a guy. But I did the wrong thing. I continued the relationship for about two months and thank god not many physical things happened with him not even a kiss. I had a bad gut feeling all along and should have listened to that as well. When I couldnt handle it anymore I finally ended it peacefully. Please dont do the same mistake as I did. Listen to your gut, listen to god! I hurt this guy and I hurt myself with my actions.

I don't really believe there is a 'one' but there is a kind of personality which best complements a person of which only GOD decides that, but is left for us to CHOOSE to obey GOD. I really love you guys, more love grace and peace to you both in JESUS NAME AMEN

Ask God to show you whatever you need to see about them, because love has blind spots! Be willing for Him to show you what you need to see, no matter what it is, and how good the person may seem- because we tend to think of someone sometimes solely in the image we build up in our minds about them and who we want them to be, not who they are. If you both are moving forward in the same direction with God, thats a good sign! If He whispers to you to wait, then wait! Seek His blessing, or dont go further❤️💜

Good job balancing out how God works with us differently. Most of the time He won't tell us up front, but allows us to make the choice & He (sometimes subtly) puts the stamp of approval. A lot of the time, when we're doing our best to submit to Him, He's guiding us through the process & we have no clue He is.

I think peace is such a huge indicator, if God isn’t giving you a big neon sign, to show you He is encouraging or giving you confirmation for whatever decision you have to make.

This video was awesome and spoke to me a lot, and gave me hope as you two would say :) Me and my girlfriend have been dating for over a year now, and recently went through a very rough patch because I wasnt focusing enough on God, and it was during that time that I started watching your videos and it gave me the motivation to start taking more initiative. We got together shortly after, we wrote down some boundaries that would help us run from temptation and sin and our relationship has been more God-centered than ever. This video gave me hope that she could be the one for me, and I pray to God every day to help reveal that. Love your videos! I don’t like the idea of “the one” because it creates insecurities for people who might have not listened to the Holy Spirit and married the “Wrong one”. Personally, I repented after I already was married but have seen God work it out for the good... I def picked the harder road but God has been so good and gracious to us - despite my disobedience.

So ive always wanted to get married and I was married but he cheated on me and abused me. So I'm now divorced, ive been single for a year and a half. I'm starting to think maybe its just a sin for me to want to be married, maybe it's something I'll always want but can't have.

My friend told me a story about a great Christian guy she was dating but she couldn’t knock the ‘not at peace’ feeling so broke it off. Soon later he started living with some other girl and living a very un Christian life. My friend was like wow God you protected me from what I couldn’t see.

I thank God he brought you guys together. You a big blessing to this generation and may God give you strength and grace to go through this big work

I believe The One is the one you marry. But definitely be in tune with whether or not God is giving you peace. A few years ago I was getting to know a guy and he was all for us being together, bit I was really unsure. During this process my Daddy passed away, so I no longer had his input. But my family really helped me gain perspective on the situation, while at the same time giving me freedom to make my own decision. In the end I put an end to the possibility of marriage to him, and I have thanked God over and over since then. I'm now married to the one! 😄 And so grateful to the Lord for him! I could see God bringing us together, and there was so much more peace in this situation. Also he fits really well in my family, and that's important to me. Also, with the first guy, I felt like I didn't really love him and wasn't really drawn to him, and I prayed that God would cause me to love him if he was the one, and that didn't really change. So, that helped with decision making too.

Hi, for whatever it's worth, I wanted to say that I do believe in the one. After having lived in places where there are no Christian guys around to even have the option of dating and then living in other places where a gal is surrounded by many Christian guys and therefore, many options for dating- the "sorting out" based on specific prayers and desires of the heart became more important- I think. Also, if one knows and is pursuing their calling from God before they've married, I think they need to consider that too in the whole dating-marriage process.

This was very encouraging. I have had a list for a long time, and I often have to remember to compare that list to the man I am praying about and not comprise. I think if a man and woman love God and love each other, then their marriage will work. But I also think there is "the one" , as in the one who God knows I will be with and have a blessed marriage with. ♡

Just watched this! I married the “one” and for 19 years things were great. Then he intentionally walked away from God and his family (immediate, extended and church). I remember asking a friend I really trusted if I had married the wrong one, and was told “you married the right one, but he took himself out of that position by his choices.

I really agree with what you say about feeling the peace of God being a sign and fully believe that if we lose that peace we've taken a wrong turn. Speaking of wrong turns, someone once said that it doesn't matter how many wrong steps we may have taken to end up where we are now, there is always a right step that will bring us closer to God - even if it just means going back on the last wrong step we took. It doesn't matter if we've only been taking right steps recently too - there is still a right step we can take that will take us further into His will for us. I like what you say too about God speaking if we really do feel our need of Him - which we all have, whether we actually acknowledge it or not. If our condition of heart is right, He won't leave us helpless and will respond and meet our need as only He can, and we just need to be ready to receive and accept whatever He reveals to us. These things don't just apply to decisions regarding potential spouses, but to any situation we find ourselves dealing with in life. I am sooo thankful that, because of Jesus, I can know of a real relationship with God in life and the help of the Holy Spirit. I can fully enter into why you shed that single tear when God spoke to you so clearly about Paul, Morgan. Experiencing God speaking and working things out so clearly for us is just such a thrill, isn't it?! I feel such experiences with God are just such a privilege, especially when I know He's worked something out that I know is right, but haven't engineered myself in my own strength. I feel very, very thankful to have proven these things in a measure and really just want to stay close to Him, so He can continue to work and mould according to His will.

First off, I can't say I'm a huge fan of the cat shirt. I don't believe that there is one absolutely perfect person out there, and that if you marry someone else, it's messed up for the person they were ACTUALLY supposed to marry, and so on. But because who we marry is such a life-defining choice, I don't think God leave it completely up to us. Perhaps there IS one person out there, perhaps there are several who could be a good match. I think this applies especially in cases where one spouse dies, and the other then remarries. I think it might depend on what God has in store for each person's life and ministry, and what that will require. Hearing a "this isn't what I have for you" is really hard, but I am learning to look back at those times, see how I learned and grew in them, and to thank Him for them. It's a wonderful thing to be able to trust that He does have someone out there who will work out. But it's harder to trust the timing of that sometimes.

I’m not even conflicted, I have experienced God’s hand in this relationship since the very beginning. It’s amazing how He has given us all the tools we need for this without us even realizing it until now. It feels like everything before hand was to prepare and mature us for each other. Just wow, God is so good and this journey has taught me what He can do when you Trust His Plan and surrender to Him completely!

I would like to hear more of Paul's anxious struggles with the dating period, which I think I can identify with more than I can with Morgan 🙂

I recently really liked someone who, honestly, I knew wasn't completely living for the Lord, but I still asked God and other people, (I even asked Morgan on a live stream, in a subtle way lol), if I should pursue that relationship and the answer kept coming back the same: *No.* Sometimes its so hard to follow what God says, but I know in my heart of hearts that what God has in store is so much better.
