Heather, when you said, "There just happened to be this little coffee shop next to Starbucks. So one night I just decided to go in there...", I was reminded of two verses in the Bible: "God brought the woman to the man"(Gen2:22) and "Ruth happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz"(Ruth2:3). Doubtless it was the Lord who ordered and directed your steps. We see the providence of God in the details of your love story -the timing, the place, and the way you met. PS. Congratulations on 2000 subscribers! As John MacArthur said, "You take care of the depth of your ministry, and God will take care of the breadth of your ministry".

This is such a helpful & sweet video. Having both of your inputs are great!! I am encouraged as Jerry shared how he inquired of The Lord from the very beginning. And also, how he was very intent on his focus with you, Heather. Such an excellent Godly Role Model of what we girls are to expect from the one Father God has for us. This is a wonderful idea to have these videos with both of you on! Love it 💞 I am impressed with how focused and intentional your conversations were...it was very, very helpful to hear how you did that. I like how Jerry took the lead to make a point to connect on a feeling level to hear about each other's day and what was going on...what a Spirit-led directed courtship! This is so necessary and I perceive the atmosphere was one of unconditional love and acceptance for each other to let the other person know, I am here for you and this is the foundation we need to build to have our relationship start off right and go in the right direction to honor God and honor each other. When a guy knows in his heart what he wants and he keeps his heart open to God, it is a strong Godly example for us girls to hear and see because that is what Father God wants for all his girls that desire marriage. @Heather Danielle great! And about your question, what i was trying to say was that i never knew how to handle the time in dating. For example, one or two times it has happened to me that i have gone in a 10 hour date with someone, in one of the first 5/6 dates. And what i don´t know is: should there be a time limit for dates? Because i remember also that my grandmother advised me not to go out for longer than 2 or 3 hours, and i get it, but i also don´t know a) how to set that kind of boundry and b) why is it important (i know it is important, but i still don´t know in what way). Okey, I hope I said it clearer this time, but should you have another question, please don´t hesitate to ask me : ) Grettings from Argentina, Sofi.
