Thank you for sharing your story. It was very encouraging for me to listen to. In April this year, God told me to wait after he reconnected me with a friend I had been praying for for 16 years. We reconnected Feb 16, 2021 & PRIOR to us reconnecting, I had shared with God that if his intent for my life was to remain single & never remarry (I’ve been divorced 19 years & never remarried) than I was okay with his plan for my life. Conversation with my friend were easy, we did have moments that we had to work through, because of our past brokenness but, we always did through pray & fasting and it was amazing. At that moment, I knew that I would walk through fire with this man no matter what the situation. Then in May just a few months after reconnecting & having spoke about our future together my friend said we are to only to be friends. Which did hurt and I felt broken all over again, for at least a week or two after he stopped speaking with me. However, God showed me so much of myself & what was broken in me, that God wanted to heal. So living in different states from my friend & having this alone time with God made a TON OF SENSE as more time passed. It is NOT easy, that’s for sure not having the opportunity to speak with my best friend right now but, ABSOLUTELY necessary!! God has shown me sooooo much of myself, that needs to be worked out of me. So during this time of waiting I continue to grow expeditiously, which is needed but whoa, is also painful. However, being prepared to be a Godly spouse is what I want and know that is EXACTLY what God wants in me too. He wants to give me his best but, also wants to prepare me to be the best for my Godly spouse as well. God is so good!! 🥰🙏🏼🥰 Be blessed always!! ~ Ms. C

I so love this Testimony of how you 2 got together. I totally understand that you had to be very careful because of past relationship drama. I know because I've lived it several times. The thing that sticks out the most to me, is that your future husband would move out of his own home before you're even engaged or sure, to let you live there, and that, THAT is a real man full of selfless protective love, a man worthy of great respect and honor! It truly amazes me because Ive never heard of such a man and can hardly imagine that at all. All the guys or men I've ever met are totally self centered and selfish, and yes, even so called christian men. But of course you both are a bit older than me, and you both probably had more of that old school morals instilled in you. While I cling to these old school values, guys my age don't value or esteem them. Yet I'm still keeping faith in my future miracle man. God bless!
