In 2010, Inter became the European champions for the first time after 1965. That night, Inter could do no wrong. They were on the roof of the European football. This could’ve been a step into Inter returning to their dominance in Europe.
That being said, time hasn’t been too kind with Inter. You see...After that magical night, Inter fell into a long and painful decline. A decline that included mid-table finishes, SIX years away from the Champions League, and at one point, 4 managers in one season. So, I’m making a series called “Surviving the Banter Era”, where we talk about every club’s banter era, and we do that with a smile.
