At 7.21 you state that Wei Yi is up a pawn. He is up a pawn and the exchange. I have lost many a game trying to show a minor piece is worth a rook. Sometimes it may be but usually it isn't. Material matters and MVL is left with both less material and less active pieces. Very impressive.

Wow seemed like a Quick Game I thought MVL was going to bring his Queen in on the early attack it looked like it would’ve been a good move since his Knight was in a good position but he didn’t even that early capture by his Rook checking the white king maybe capturing with the Bishop and setting up the discovery check would’ve been more effective Wei Yi totally turned the game around within a couple of moves he’s definitely fun to watch Thanks for the Game Enjoy your day

I think each 2700+ player has at least 10 games that could be contenders for immortal games. I am glad to be a fly on the wall of a well-articulated walkthrough of any of those games on this channel, irrespective of the sequence.
