Workplace bullies are inadequate people who bully others to try and feel better about their pathetic little selves. Employees should have more protection from bullying at work.

The affects of bullying in the workplace can be extremely debilitating. Sadly, some of these bullying tactics are directed at most anyone who is different and can be included as discriminatory.

I was the victim of workplace bullying at a psychiatric care unit where I was a therapist attempting to counsel patients in their own emotional issues and meanwhile had two coworkers who had no counseling background criticize, belittle, threaten and sabotage my work constantly and a social worker who told me if I get in her way she'd kill me. When I went to my manger and HR after having proof this was happen from other staff, the blame was redirected toward me. I couldn't take the constant harassment from people supposedly hired to help others and instead act as high school thugs.

I worked in behavioral health nursing home that my coworkers treated me the same way. I enjoyed spending time with my patients and I had so much fun at work. But the other staff hated that and took advantage of the fact that I enjoyed doing my job to the point where I was taking care of 17 patients by myself. Theres so much more than that but I cant type everything. I felt guilty for being compassionate and loving towards psychiatric patients. Staff kept saying "they did this to themselves" and one staff actually said "that patient is urinating on purpose we should wait 2 hours before changing her so she doesn't urinate again" "shes attention seeking" I said "no we are changing her. You cant leave ppl sitting in their urine for two hours, that's wrong. And so what if its attention seeking she has a personality disorder, we have to provide her with love and care because that's what shes begging for, this isnt a personal attack on us."

I would wake up crying. That's when I knew it wasn't me. It was the workplace. My boss new what was going on and didn't care. He called me up and bullied me about my doctors certificate stating I needed time off. I quit. I'm still struggling with ptsd and social anxiety. I can't work as I have not faith. But I'm healing. Slowly. The union wanted me to sue but I didn't ahve the strenght. I now struggle to survive, but it was worth it. You can't win against these people.

I was told by lawyers, police, HR and management that there is absolutely nothing that can be done to someone that is harrassing someone. So I started harrassing this person at his home all through the christmas season and on christmas morning. He does not bother me at all and there was nothing anyone can do to me. Make the bully find the solution. It's your only hope.

The online gang stalkers found where my new job was, & they called to tell about me exposing my Gang Stalking experiences & workplace mobbing at Sky Zone here in Pensacola, FL. The manager played fake "nice" & then lured me into the office, & 3 sheriff officers showed up to have me wrongfully fired & banned forever. I can see that this woman is a sweet soul and someone who a bully might be attracted to because they were perceive her goodness as weakness. Even her voice is gentle and sweet sounding and her whole demeanor seems humble. While these are beautiful characteristics in a person, in this world, the strong eat the weak. Leave it. I hope you left it. I was viciously attacked in front of another employee by my bully. I thought filed a report of harrassment and the other person lied in the report. And the "independent" investigator was the manager from the next office who the bully was friends with. Some workplaces are like high schools, if you are smart and kind you will be attacked and no-one will believe you are being attacked :-( Leave this toxic environment.

Going to HR will only serve to makey ou look like you are out to 'get' the poor, innocent office bully / supervisor for trying to do their job. It WILL get turned around against you. The Bully WILL convince their superiors that they are "just trying to do their job, and don't understand why Suzie / Billy is having so many struggles...Poor Billy or Suzie." You WILL be seen as a trouble-maker and the bully WILL go on a full-fledged campaign to get you fired...and they will win.

the people at your job will start participating with the organized gang-stalking. they know that they got lots of people watching you, so yeah, they're going to start coughing when they see you, spend a lot of they're time trying to make you think shat THEY want you to think, and they're going to try to ACT like you're not doing a good job, they're going to put 2-3 days of work on your work list, and then sit there & try to ACT like it's just 8 hours of work that you should be getting done, and they're also going to be reacting to everything that they watch you do & say in the privacy of your home everyday. welcome to organized gang-stalking ( a.k.a. the world class deception used to mislead millions of people about a target, while NEVER telling people the real story, or the real reason that they want ya watched ).

We should be able to file police reports and open up investigations on workplace bullying. We should be able to file legal charges against employers for allowing and enabling the workplace bullying to go on. People who have been targeted by management and other coworkers should face jail and prison time while the companies should also be legally charged and seriously fined while being out on a public list as an abusive workplace.

Anna C I posted my KZfaq video the other day about being bullied at work and fired when I reported it. After I made my video I received a courier delivered letter from an Attorney representing Monitronics. It was a cease and desist letter. The lawyer demanded I immediately stop posting anything regarding the company and stated I had "until Friday" to take down all of my postings. I asked the attorney what posting did he have an issue with and he refused to say. He simply said I had better take down all of my postings and my video and never speak of the company. I worked at the company. I had an experience at that company. The lawyer told me I was posting false statements and that Monitronics had "statements" (two of which were from two women involved in the bullying and the other three from their friends and cohorts who sat with them and who were friends with them). It was like a mob rule and the lawyer didn't care. I thought we had freedom of speech in America. How can a corporation sic an attorney on a person and demand that they remove "EVERYTHING" and say "NOTHING ELSE EVER" even about their own experience? I didn't know this was possible. I am being THREATENED.

There's no recourse. It's legal. Even if you have legal recourse, like a disability, they may or may not take your case, and if they do, you have a hard time proving it and winning. You get treated like you are just trying to be a martyr (my boss called me that) or you have an emotional or mental problem and you are suffering only because you are defective mentally. It's impossible to fight. Anytime your boss bullies you, he will be believed over you. Polite approach does not work btw. Bullying is emotional terrorism. They aren't after good relationships, they are after POWER. Politeness, only gives them more of your vulnerability.

Cathy Ferrari me too! I totally believe you as it happened to me. I kept saying why doesn't my work history prove to you that I'm not lying? I kept saying shouldn't the numbers speak for me?? But I didn't know a co-worker had vowed to do me in. Somebody else confided in me that they overheard her saying that. My only crime, i hadn't joined her click as she ganged up on the weak and had everybody find faults about a person and point it out to the boss. It was her favorite game to find someone to overpower and punish to make herself feel powerful. I fell in her radar and I was done for. She had followers who lied for her. Who is going to believe that if I try to defend myself?? I tried to tell my boss that I was being bullied and he treated me like a crazy person too. What do you do if you really are being bullied? You can't prove it usually because the bullies are actors who convince people they are charming and charismatic. They make friends with the right people in charge who will never doubt them). They do their dirty work when there are no witnesses. Sorry it happened to you. There's no way to prove it. And part of the emotional terror is that your life is ruined and it looks like you are the inept crazy one. They take no responsibility for the damage done.

If you play fairly, don't join cliques and are also a top performer - there's target on your back from the get go. I was targeted at Anthem aka Elevance Health for vicious severe brutal workplace abuse for the entire 10 years that I worked there. No law firm will take my case and law enforcement and Colorado Labor Department along with unemployment has repeatedly denied me financial compensation and unemployment benefits. Since leaving Anthem, I have been bullied out of several jobs as listed Gusto, Optum Health aka United Health Group, and OCC Advanced Orthopedics at Lowery in Denver Colorado and my apartment community Novi at Lowery in Denver Colorado.

Approach a bully in a "Polite" way - according to the male caller. No not politely - Kiss their Butts. Build their ego up. PLay on their narcissistic tendencies...i.e when they rag your ass, respond with "I sure do appreciate your intelligent coaching." Play the game. Be a fake (in their presence). Treat them like they are the most benevolent, kind and giving person on the planet - that is how they see themselves, and anything that threatens that "Must Be Destroyed" in their mind.

Unfortunately, HR is there for management and to protect the org, not employees. I'm sure many HR professionals do care, and work to create a healthy equitable environment. But HR most often sides with a bully supervisor regardless of facts or plausibility. They listen and pretend to care, then act quickly to work w/ mgmt to squeeze out the "complainer" (usually a hard-working, loyal, but bullied target) as if this is somehow a way to avoid legal action; I still don't understand that rationale.

I am in the same experience. What is the solution? At work? At school? In the playground? Everywhere. What can the CEO's do? What can the government do? What else can we do?

I knew someone as smart as you would be able to help me today. And, "The boss / corporate (someone he or she admires...usually another bully) will sure be impressed!" But just be careful not to say it with sarcasm. You can throw up in the bathroom later, or privately journal your true thoughts and feelings on paper at home...but the ONLY way to survive while you are stuck at your current job with them without dealing with repercussion, is to bullsh** your way through it.

Yes many bosses / coworkers / clients are full.of sacristic talks and fully of toxicity inside them.. Which makes people go away from them... Don't be sacristic to people based on there past life It show the person cheap characters if some one always sacristic to other person bullying him or her based on past. Sign of dirty humans . Not good work places with such sacristic bosses people around
