I started playing fortnite 6 months ago and I absolutely love the game. I had a old beat up ps4 that I was playing on and I recently upgraded to a ps5. I noticed that I was getting a couple more kills per game on average, and I figured that's from the system, picture quality, new controller and maybe just luck. I'm trying to become a better overall player and I appreciate your videos man. Thanks

I'm 48 and played arena fps (quake, UT) forever so transitioning now to FN my biggest challenge is just cover and not keeping myself exposed. Thanks for your videos much appreciated.
@TobyWanShinobi
@TobyWanShinobi 11 ай бұрын
Yep, I had the same issue... arena shooters you can kind of leave cover to take a 1v1 more often. But in FN zb cover is an essential in almost every fight... especially with the 3rd person camera and right shoulder peek.

I’ve definitely plateaued and have gotten frustrated with how quickly I get killed off by better players. After watching a couple of your videos I’ve started practicing in the R v B death match and I’ve already noticed a big improvement in my ability to track people and adjust my aim while I’m moving. I started playing Fortnite in Chapter 3 Season 3 for Zero Build, and today after 1 year of playing i can say that i'm a good player, not an insane one but i'm working hard on improving always. The main problems i have is that i usually go for flick shots too much, and don't line my crosshair with my movement, and also jump too much when fighting close range. Kinda hard to master movement when i have constant 120 ping, that's why i struggle so much to implement the movement techniques. Great video as always man, i'm glad i found your channel bc your content is the best for teaching players! Cheers from Argentina and keep up the excellent work

I even started dipping my toes into making Fortnite content (mostly because my son loves KZfaq and kept asking me to make a channel, I have no idea what I’m doing nor do I have any real direction on the channel, I’m not good enough to make too videos, but I figure if I just keep playing and just keep posting the direction will come eventually. I finally started to follow the core advice from this video: Track matches and reasons for deaths, click training, The Pit for practice. What the tracking quickly revealed for me is how poor I was at escaping bad situations and needed to get better at using shockwaves. Started each daily game session with just 5-10 minutes practicing in The Pit and a few more minutes of aim tracking. Doubled my previous win % over the next week. Super, super helpful. Thanks so much!

Your month 5 is how my current month 6 is right now. But I'm still on the Nintendo Switch. And Don't really have the means to get a computer set up but I'm trying to get better. Started with doing a lot of AFK level up just to learn controls and learn the game. Now I'm watching videos to get more knowledge, so thank you for the tips and added knowledge!

Awesome! Respect to the switch game... lots of difficulties inherent to that device - impresses me that people can do things on 30fps, wifi and an 8" screen haha

This is hands down the best, most informative Fortnite video I've ever seen. My aim and gameplay are atrocious. I've been playing for a few years and I haven't gotten any better.

@@TobyWanShinobi thanks. I'll check the out. I manage to reach tier 200 most seasons, not due to my amazing game playing ability, but, because I'm anerd and do all the quests. Last season, I completed every available quest, including all the milestones.

This is a fantastic watch, really enjoyed watching your progress. You often talk about aim training etc. I don’t get much time these days to play, but one thing I struggle with is switching guns at right moment, yes I could use sweaty creative maps, but I’d rather use a gun switch training map, to give me more confidence with timing. Do you know of one?

@@TobyWanShinobi just been practicing that 1v1 focusing on switching guns, for 30 mins , then went & I really felt I played so much better thanks to your advice, actually won game with great smg to shotgun switch.. Now I’m definitely more focused on practicing on one thing at a time. It really does help. Thankyou 😁👍🏻♥️

Deathmatch and such as practice goes highly underrated within the BR community. Thankfully Fortnite is mostly fighting instead of ratting so this is much more applicable with this game.

Toby Zero-Build Shinobi delivers another stonkin training video, the red vs blue tip is awesome, love that map, its more fun than regular BR pubs IMHO, played it for 4-5 hours yesterday, if you need ideas for more content I think what would help complement the advanced movement vid is probably a more basic pre-video showing what settings you need to perform the likes of the reverse mantle juke and others, plus a more detail explanation on combat timings, you make it look so smooth but it's so difficult to master in the heat of combat, do you have a twitch channel Mr Shinobi? PS The one juke that was omitted from the Advanced Movement video is the slide into a player and then shooting them as they fly back, tricky & dangerous to pull off but looks amazing.
