If you hook up a Ethernet cable from your Xbox or ps4 to your laptop or computer, you can get everyone’s ip addresses in the party. (Without the “”) you can type “(your routers Internal IP address)//hide UDP;home” It’ll remove your IP address from the ips being pulled. You can also do this with your friends ip, if you don’t wanna pull the wrong persons information;)

i need some help. Number 1: I tried connecting the hotspot to my ps4 but it seems that the hotspot isnt working. So i got an ethernet cable and connected it between the ps4 and the laptop and did a bridge connection between the wifi and the etherent cable on my laptop, but then i just keep getting alot of ips that arent from the ps4. What is the difference in doing it with a router vs. using a hotspot? Wouldn't you end up with the same outcome since that wireshark is able to see the network traffic of the wifi?

It wouldn't work as wireshark only intercepts the packets that go through the computer, so by making a hotspot that redirects the console data to go through the pc first.

in the filter you can put (appr == "insert playstation ip") and you'll get only the traffique that comes from the playstation

Destination is your router and where thag packet for example TCP packet is coming or going to, time is when it was accessed or the packet was created, and source is where the packet or IPA packet came from so source

@@OmarLopez-kh3dx as long as you didn’t mess with their wifi signal. Your ip is essentially public info so it’s completely legal to pull it. But jamming their signal is a federal crime.
