You can reach Grandmaster, I mean I did, so why not you too? Basically, I'll be running down how I think is the best way to reach such a rank, and what thinks you need to specifically work on - and as well as what concepts you need to know well (especially fundamentals). Great video, I left league a little while ago to play CS (best decision of my life) & I can relate as I used to be stuck d4 for a few seasons & then actively trying to learn the game & not think about LP too much which lead me to reach Master pretty easily before leaving for a better game (imo)

I started playing in S3 and always played as an 'autofill' player for my team filling up what we need i got to Diamond playing that way but every time a friend of mine asks how to climp i always say just dont play like me

It's funny how some of those does sounds like advice given to climb even the low ranks (well there's no obvious learn to cs since you start from a good rank and already achieved good cs). The best advice I can give to climb is first and foremost put in the time. A split with 100 game is not enough to climb even with 57% win rate it took me 120 games last season to get over my account mmr (hard stuck silver 1 for 11 years and made it to gold IV previous split). That will sound crazy for a hobby that won't do anything for you in your life but 3 hours a day (between games, vod review and watch educational content) is not too much to climb in league.

Yeah putting in time for sure helps a lot, but you have to spend the time ON SOMETHING and just not blindly play League (although you can do that if you are a new player). Make sure you have ssome goals in mind (improving on my CS, tracking enemy jungler etc.)

It took me 4 years to go from plat to grandmaster (with the full intent of achieving it), with 1 year in astrolow, then 2 full years of those 4 being spent in diamond, then a year in master. If someone as untalented as me can do it, almost anyone can. The problem is that the amount of work required is something people will need to soberly take an honest look at--is it worth sacrificing so much for some ranked points in a video game to you? If so, why? Is your priority really sensible here? Etc. For me it was worth it, but I will never pretend it wasn't extremely life consuming. I also won't pretend that, for many people, it may not prove worth it if it takes that long.

great insight ! the fact that tier / and divs are removed from the game withe new system buff we can agree that everyone can get master at least ! emerlad rank are made for the gold and plats so everyone who was hardstuck plat gold are now in emerlad and diamonds are still the same coinflp till ur d high d2 D1 ! we can't compare nowadays master to prerewokred rank system !

I would say it took me 2 years but I could have *probably* done it in 1-1,5 years if I played wayyyyyy more league, but I had a few breaks in between because the grind took a toll at some point. I have many accounts (4-5), all of them has been masters at some point

@@hazmat1 gotchu was curious, I’m considering grinding out ranked aswell eventually but with college it only happens in increments. I think I’m about level 120~ between 3 accounts currently emerald 3, so I was asking just to gauge how long it might take from here to climb maybe around masters. thanks for reply bro

After reaching my level of Grandmaster, I have the necessary skills to play well. Ive had a hardstuck account (plat 1-dia 4) with the shittiest MMR ever, and climb it to masters. This is 100% doable on any account as long as you play consistently good, and have the necssary skills to reach masters :)

As a jungler (Reksai otp) that peaked 99lp then decayed with a pretty low amount of games I used: Hidon really good but probably is not very available right now Tarzaned coaching is an insane ressource thats also free (Dantes sessions in particular) Virkayu is decent if youre starting too but I feel like hes more for beginners Most of the champ-specific stuff I just kind of knew since the champ just clicks with me . And Honestly I wouldnt recommend watching otp junglers as much

watched this video, came back as an adc main from silver one all the way to emerald 4, decided to dump all my games into mainly kai'sa and just try to play with what I could, I plan on reaching for diamond and want to comment on my journey here! Edit: Emerald 3 is there, just need to play ranked but honestly been kinda out of it, had lots of fun in norms recently and plan on doing some more kai'sa zeri stuff, road to diamond is on track

Sometimes you lose and it's ok just aslokg as you feel like you okayed your best is what matters

I just abide by the 1/3 rule. 1/3 are pure losses, 1/3 are pure wins, 1/3 are in your control. Do your best to gain 2/3 on average win. I tend to just emotionally somewhat disconnect towards pure loss games, but you can turn them also into win so make sure you try in those games rather than fully on afk

lmao it dosent take that long assuming your not loosing majority of your games. I got to master within 30ish games. Problem with people nowadays is thinking climbing high elo means forgoing everything in your life. Which creates this narrative of if I had the time I could be high elo, legitimately a lot of hardstuck players have this mentality. Its just like saying I could become a world renown basketball player if I put in the time to.

The concept of 'inflation' for people who hit top 800 doesn't make sense. By this logic nobody has ever improved ever. Nonsensical. Inflation exists but only to an extent.

What do you mean reaching grandmsater is no easy task ? xD these days you just need to spam the game, grind has never been so easy, you make a smurf, abuse fresh mmr, then spam games, even if you're 45% you still climb, even you abused a fresh smurf to make it
