HI. Thank you for your comment. It is a hot topic. Like Buffett and Pabrai, Charles Ellis suggests that average, nonprofessional retail investors would be better off sticking to passive index funds. If you are an expert or invest enough time to become one, you can day trade, you can stock pick and be an active investor. No problem. He points out that a self-made individual investment expert must compete with professionals with more info, bigger teams, and more extensive resources than an individual expert. We can agree or not.
