seeing Monster by SeulRene lost many times to HYLT makes me sad and I’m not fully blaming this on the music shows since there are also Reveluvs who are lazy at voting compared to Blinks 😤 i’m a ReveLink but I cannot lie that Monster attracts me more than HYLT 🥺 I just hope the second pre-release single in August won’t have some kind of similar beats too and I hope it’s true that they’re featuring Ariana Grande cause if it’s Ariana, I know the song won’t be bored 👁👄👁 it’s Ariana man, she doesn’t sing repetitive songs 👁👄👁 but some how feels good to see the girls are being active in music again 🥺🖤💗

I used to be a hardcore Blink, and it makes me really sad but I'm really starting to lose interest in the group at this point. The girls are so talented and I kept on waiting in hope that YG would finally let them show their true potential at some point, but every comeback since DDDD has been getting progressively more boring and bland. I just wish they could write their own music, or at least rely on someone other than Teddy - someone who might actually have some creative ideas left. I hope that one day BlackPink will be able to experiment with new sounds and ideas, but until then I won't be paying them much more of my attention.

Same honestly I've been loosing a bit of interest in them. I still love them though and I definitely won't unstan them but YG are screwing them so bad.

I first kinda liked them but now my whole mindset has changed i wont ever stan them ever again their music is boring and looks all the same like i cant recognize the songs cuz they sound the same ,Believe me , we Army r lucky to have bts as our idols they never disappoint us ,their music is relatable and they take every experience to make different kinds of music ,

I don’t see a point unstanning right now. If the album in a couple of months is similar than I would agree. This was just a prerelease. And no that isn’t an excuse for the quality of the song after a year but it’s one song. If that was all for the year it would be a big problem. But it isn’t. Or it better not be.

@@edvaedan9161 I'm not planning on officially "unstanning" - I'm not really into the whole stan thing anymore, anyway. If the album is good I'll listen to it, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to try and get myself to like it. It's also just a general rule of thumb that if you do the same thing again and again people are going to stop paying attention eventually. Even if there is something super interesting and engaging on the album then they probably should've made that the pre-release to draw people in, instead of yet another 4D clone. Again, if the album comes out and is absolute fire then that's great, I'll still listen to it. I respect your opinion and if you wanna keep waiting for something better then good for you, I'm not judging. I just don't have that kinda patience.

I definitely agree with your points. If it weren’t for their massive support and fan base, they wouldn’t be gaining this much hype. As a blink, I’m definitely disappointed.

Louis Tran bruh im a blink myself which honestly made it more disappointing to me as a fan. I really love them and hopefully learn from this mistake as musicians. It’s not being mean but rather it is honesty. If you really love them and actually care about their songs, you’d say the same, otherwise it’s toxic to lie to yourself and others. In such a competitive industry and high status like that, its disappointing to listen to something seemingly so half assed. Disappointed but mistakes do happen. Pretty sure it’s not mainly the girls fault but rather the company’s as well.

I was so disappointed with the comeback. I agree with all ur points. It's so annoying how repetitive it's getting. I've lost interest in then over time and they used to be my ult group but I don't thing anything can get me back into stabbing them. I don't hate the girls, in fact I love their personalities and their friendship but I can't stan a group with repetitive music that I don't like. There's so many things I could vent about but that's for another time

Thank you for stating so many similar points, I love the group but this song overall was so repetitive and really added nothing new. I stand by the fact that this being a prerelease does not excuse the quality, especially with the popularity they have.

I was going to be a blink and I kind like them and I heard the song I thought it's was fire or another song that they made and Lisa chorus was bad for real I wish they would be better I like bts more cause of this ideas to talk to us as youth but black pinks really become bad I wish they become better

I listened to it once and was disappointed. I was kind of excited hoping it was gonna be one of my favorites but it was just underwhelming for me. I used to like BP more but their songs haven't really hit me emotionally and don't really make me wanna get up and dance or sing along like the other songs I've listened to. I hope that they will come out with better songs in the future.

I like this song more than kill this love. From the verse part until post chorus. But when it comes to bridge, i hate it even more than kill this love. They keep following boombayah formula, with worse lyrics and choreography. Boombayah is so great for a debut tho. I wish they would release song like "stay" or "whistle" especially stay which is so underrated

Another thing that bothers me is the lyrics. Lyrics don't have to be deep but none of their songs rly have depth to them. Like name me more than 2. And there's always something that sits wrong with me when artists don't at least help write their own songs

It is bad. I mean, blinks in my country mocks the song like singing the chorus its like this (How you like that, that, that,that, that) They also mocks the “badabimbadaboom boom boom” and “Look up in the sky its a bird its a plane”. I dont even hear the song when i go outside anymore. (You might say its because of the pandemic but you when D4 and KTL was released, i can hear my neighbors playing it on loud speakers (I was not outside but i can hear it). They didn’t play HYLT when it was released its impossible that they’re not their because they’re literally playing Dynamite when HYLT was released)

I know that you all disappointed but writing a song its not easy.You guys need to respect them that they also human they need some break.Blackpink is not a robot that can write a good song every year. Being a pre release should not be an excuse for a bad song. Pre releases (especially one that hasn't been released for over a year) should incite excitement for the actual release, and really raise the bar. You can't say that appetizers are not supposed to taste good because they're not the main chorus.
