My Complete Mouth Care System. Developed over decades from experience as a dentist for 40+ years and being tired of seeing people suffer with oral health problems. I decided to create a mouth care system that would stop oral health problems, prevent and reverse gum recession, plaque, cavities and create clean, white and healthy teeth. This video will go into detail about every step of the Complete Mouth Care System, how it works and why it is important to follow. The third step is the use of Crest toothpaste and brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth is something everyone has done, but have you been told to do it like this?

Four extractions (wisdom teeth), one root canal, and 22 full crowns which I've had for 45 years. I've brushed, flossed, and used various forms of flouride for most of my life and still had loads of plaque at my 6 month checkups. Until now. Started using the full Dr Ellie system, including the mouth watcher toothbrushes, about 2 weeks before I faced the dreaded "chair" and this time the sonar cleaning didn't hurt and dentist and hygienist were so impressed with my new regimen they asked me what I had changed because there was so little plaque. Other people who've had scant work done or believe her system to be unorthodox may not agree with me, but I think she deserves a Nobel Prize. It's chemistry, not floss, that makes all the difference and I absolutely love xylitol.

I've been using your system for 6 months and this morning, the dentist said that there's such improvement. I don't have to go back for 6 months!!! 😂😂😂 God bless you, Ellie! Thank you so much 💓

Dentists are trained in what they can do for you - with no education about what you can do for yourself. If you need the free downloadable booklet it’s at my website DrEllie.com and there’s a 14-video bootcamp that is another way to learn from, and communicate with, others who have used the strategies I teach.

@@danielleballard1995 dead on! The distribution of wealth would be skewed more favourably away from dentists and “super-duper” tooth products, back toward we, the private citizens. But carefree and cary free is not their income. I personally believe that during the routine “C&C” (checkup+clean) they create little deformities or weakenings in one or two teeth, nothing you could indicate and ask, “WTF?”, but they create conditions which will require more visits over time. I’m in two minds on this: it sounds very paranoid and assuming dentists are mercenary in their practice -:- Maybe their cleaning reveals stuff already going wrong which the owner of the teeth were unaware of. Could these both be plausible ? I used to feel yuck after the dentist no matter what was wrong or right. Now i just sense resentment from the dentist any time I’ve gone for a checkup or get a rough bit smoothed… dentist can see I’m a vanishing patient, my teeth are getting better and I’m not coming in anymore like before i started the system. Ellie is probably correct though, dental misinformation/outdated theories are SO widespread the dentists are sometimes the ones propagating the info. If you could stay on your couch and look at a clock on the wall to tell the time, why bother to look outside and see where the sun+weather is at?

I won't use a flouride toothpaste. And I refuse cancer causing x-rays for the teeth. An old dentist told me how to brush my teeth when I was a teenager. And I'm a senior now. To brush each tooth one at a time Start at the bottom of the tooth at the gum and brush to the top of the tooth. Sure it takes me 5 minutes but my teeth are clean. Every time I go I to the dentist and tell them I feel great and have no complaints they try hard to find something wrong to try and make money off of me but I won't let them because I have no complaints. Most dentists are like the medical society. They want you to keep coming back. They don't want you healed. They want you as a customer. I won't do it.

Yeah.... Hi again. They don't have Crest where I am in Russia but they still got regular Colgate, so that's what I'm using now. I noticed I was getting cavities a few years ago (after rarely getting any) after I switched to fluoride free toothpaste, so I switched back to fluoride. Anyway, I had a couple of spots where between the teeth the gum had come away from the tooth. I was told that would never grow back. Well it did! Once I realized what was going on, it collected food debris, I started paying close attention and made sure I got the debris out with a piece of Floss. I learned that if I felt something after a meal it was because there was food stuck between teeth and started cleaning the food out right away after the meal. Well, it must have worked because I noticed no food was collecting there anymore. Upon close inspection I saw that it was because the gum had reattached itself to the tooth and there was nowhere for food to collect. Just thought I'd tell someone that.

Ive had to change my diet drastically as certain things trigger it,and particularly i am now off coffee for the foreseeable future,as i think this is what did the damage, and when i drink it it is very painful, due to the acidity. Ive started your regime and find the Closys very calming, and will get the toothpaste shortly. Im a great believer in the softly softly approach, and think your videos, and regime are excellent. I am not rushing to a dentist yet,and have faith that this approach will help, and heal. Many thanks.

@@LoyolaMan Knowing what goes on in dentistry - I feel strongly that patients must be empowered to ask questions and not agree to treatments suggested without considering if they have options. SO MANY unnecessary treatments are done - and they cannot be undone. For example, a small filling today - with white filling material - will need replacement every 13 years - for life. At replacement #2 or #3 the nerve will likely die, and now this small filling has turned into a root canal, crown, or possibly an extraction or implant. If a patient can reverse a cavity - that is a FAR better option - and this option is usually never suggested - because it is not financially beneficial for anyone except the patient.

My advice is not to share too much of what you are doing at this stage. It takes up to two years for the full results to become visible. It is so easy to be "thrown off the wagon" - and I hope you will remember that you noticed results immediately - which is incredible but how my system works! Congratulations - and if your dentist wants to know more I recommend my book Mouth Care Comes Clean which explains the most recent science of oral health.

I’d say perspective is the key to so much conflicting advice on the Internet. It is very difficult to know where marketing begins and confusion ends. I have been living in the world of Fluoride since 1970. I was trained to believe in it, I was shocked by the deception of it, I am horrified by the misunderstanding of it, but there is definitely a balanced perspective that can be very helpful. Thank you for taking time to consider this with me!

The strategies I recommend are certainly worth trying - but if you can try to figure out why you have Recession, you can be even more sure to remove the cause of the problem. If you are wearing a retainer or Invisalign, you may have to consider removing that - in order to get the recession to reverse. Selecting a good toothbrush is essential, and I highly recommend learning as much as you can about my complete mouth care system. I've also been down the natural health route for a very long time and have avoided fluoride so your explanations about that have been helpful and I'm slowly digesting what you are saying. Is there one video that's put the whole routine together? Or do we need to get your book? I'm ready to break from what we've been doing and try your program since she just had 5 fillings. She will go back in 6 months so we can really see how effective it is.

I am so grateful to have found you. After 40 years of no cavities and pretty good oral health (never really had dental insurance so I wouldn’t go as often) I went to a dentist for a cleaning and had a bunch of fillings! And that’s when pain in my mouth started! Those fillings made my teeth sensitive and ever since then, especially one filling has been very sensitive and hurts. The pain comes and goes. I went after 1.5 years to another dentist thinking I needed a refill, he was so nice and did it for free (kind soul) but 2 months later and I have sensitivity again and pain sometimes (last night I felt a lot of pain, this morning it had gone away). I reeeeeaaaaaallly don’t want to go back to a dentist. I purchased your kit hoping to reverse this. The only thing is I have an oral-b electrical toothbrush that I spent good money on to simply throw away, is there any way I can use it and maybe incorporate the other toothbrush 🪥? Do you think I have a fighting chance at reversing this? THANK YOU SO MUCH for all you do! Bless your kind heart ❤️

I've learned so much from your videos thank you for the info you share i truly believe its saving my health. I have a wisdom tooth that grew in sideways and broke the two teeth next to it. It got so ugly long story short i dont have the money to see a dentist to have the issue properly dealt with and i knew i had an infection but basically had to wait until it was bad enough that i could go to the ER and get antibiotics. I had an abscess that got outta control and i knew it would probably just come back eventually but they wouldn't pull it and i just don't have the money to see a dentist, It swelled my cheek and throat ;( Maybe only a week after the antibiotics another abcess started forming. It wasn't HUGE but big enough that if you compared it to the other side of my face youd see one side was a little bigger than the other and you could feel the lump. It seemes contained to the tooth and i REALLY didn't want to take more antibiotics knowing I wouldn't have the means to get the tooth pulled after so I decided to take a risk and see if I could deal with it myself. I applied the info I've learned from your channel and I'm so happy I did because it's proved invaluable to me. I learned all the things that I had been doing, the things you grow up hearing over and over and the things all the websites tell you to do, had just been making it worse. I know your practices arent intended as a solution to someone in my situation, but alas I was desperate and felt trapped with no real solution. i truly believe the info ive learned here alongside with information I've learned after expanding my own research on topics I wouldnt have known of had I not watched your channel, I truly belive it's saving me right now because the abcess is gone now and i didn't have to take more antibiotics. Im amazed honestly I thought it was impossible for them to just go away like that especially considering the size, yet that's what happened. It went from a noticeable lump to completely undetecable in a matter of days whereas before I was doing anything it was getting bigger each day which is amazing to me. Im so grateful i was able to stop it from turning into another crisis situation. I know i im not out of the woods yet and need a dentist to deal with it, i would LOVE to have that happen but most places won't see me since i don't have dental insurance and the places that will require me to pay it all upfront since I don't have insurance and there's not one place I've found in my area that's quoted me under $800 which I simply dont have. Its a horrible place to be in knowing you need dental work done and wanting it done so you can prevent further problems but not having the ability to do so since dentistry and healthcare are for some reason viewed as separate entities. A lot of anxiety, feels like you're living with a time bomb in your head that it bound to go off one day and no one will help you deactivate it but least when it goes off I can have my grevious injuries treated if I survive. A little dramatic but thats what it feels like. I feel everything I've learned here has bought me some time until i can afford the dental work I need and given me a much better option than taking course after course of antibiotics without dealing with the tooth which just screams antibiotic resistence to me and is grossly irresponsible on behave of the healthcare sytem and is a threat to human survival, but I digress. Thank you for the tip on using two tooth brushes! It makes perfect sense. I have only started to view your content. Thank you for all your work :) The common toothbrush is associated with brushing the teeth. As I understand from your concept, mouth care is not tooth brushing. To shift the view of people and to help everyone to get the right perspective on oral hygiene, it therefore may make sense to come up with a "gum massages brush/tool". I couldn't find any online.

I have a chapter in each of my books (Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye and Mouth Care Comes Clean) and also a 20-minute video about fluoride on my oral health bootcamp at DrEllie.com. The video explains how I gave fluoride to my oldest children and the damage that occurred - with the scientific explanation about why this happened and what the difference is between fluorosis and using a fluoride rinse that is 0.05% sodium fluoride. I think if you view all of this information it will put your mind at ease. The biggest danger to oral health is fear - because it generates acidic saliva.

So I went to the dentist and had my check up today, I did have less plaque however some of my pockets got bigger, some of them shrank. I'm kinda a mess right now, I didn't incorporate the right toothpaste until a couple months ago( used the gel), I did get the toothbrushes you recommended only a little over a month ago and the first time I used the Closys I used the peppermint flavoring, cost too much to throw away. So I'm hoping these things will help, I also ordered the kids toothbrushes because while my front teeth pockets are better, the ones in the back are worse. Ugh, he wants me to pull one of my back molars because it got worse. I'm going to continue the protocol because I may as well. I'm kinda curious to know why you think some pockets got bigger? I did start oil pulling again about 3 weeks ago and using red/blue light therapy. Hoping things are better in 3 months. He didn't bring up flossing though, lol.

I've been trying your videos and almost stop flossing. I only floss to get the food out of molar pocket and noticing my gum in that area has filled up and the pocket getting smaller just within two weeks. Similarly I've been using Dr Plotka's toothbrush and loving them ever since. I use Listerine sparingly. For years I've been dedicated to dental cleaning and I think it just made my teeth more susceptible to stains, prone for damaging than sustaining. Honestly I was shocked when I heard of "no flossing" in the past and never believe it until I watch your video with your good explanation and yourself as a living proof I gave it a try and it actually works as you said. I had been using an electric toothbrush (Oral B) for 30 plus years and loved it better than the like brush without the motion. Whenever I did use the standard, I found it uncomfortable. However, this brush is different. I felt immediately comfortable using it and it still looks good. I rinse it with very hot water after each use and make sure it is clean and clear. I don't know how often I should replace it. The norm says every 3 months. Looking at it, it looks still new.

I find it especially hard to find a toothpaste without glycerin. I am trying to incorporate as much of your advice as I can anyway with the best available options (gum massage, xylitol, not eating/drinking after lunch) etc. I've always had excellent oral health but during my second pregnancy things changed and I had quite a few cavities, gum sensitivity and dry mouth (which I cannot get rid of anymore) which now I'm thinking has mainly to do with the change in saliva...
