I used to be the kindest person in the world who wouldn’t hurt a fly. I was hurt so many times and taken advantage of that I eventually turned cold. I didn’t want to be kind anymore. I stopped caring for others even the ones who have always been good and loyal to me. I just didn’t want to be hurt anymore. I recently hurt someone out of frustration with everything in my life and I feel like a piece of shit. I wish I could go back and apologize to that stranger but I can’t. All of this reminded how important being kind is and why the very trait that i let go of and started to hate was the greatest gift I possessed. My kindness is my superpower even when people hurt me I can at least say I did them no harm and walk away in peace. I shut people out and became cold for 2 years straight. I lost who I was. I will never go back to being that person again. I’m here to reclaim my greatness but more importantly to give as much love and goodness to the world as I possibly can. Please take my advice when I say that as painful as it is to be hurt by others, the pain of regret from hurting someone else is far worse. I will take being hurt over hurting someone else any day. I pray I never make a mistake like that again. Always always always be kind! The world so desperately needs it.

I'm so thankful that being kind and compassionate comes natural to me. I like most people, even if they don't like me back. Every time I have an opportunity to make the world a better place I do my best to seize that opportunity. Anything I can do to make someone's life a little better, to make the world a better place is something I'm more than happy to do. I think the world is a truly wonderful place with so many truly amazing people, unfortunately a lot of people seem unaware of just how much in common they have with others and have been taught to see only the differences, instead of division by difference we should all unify around how amazing most people are. I understand that there are some bad people in the world who do bad things, but in most cases, there was something that happened to them that damaged their soul to where their moral compass no longer points north so to speak. But 99.9999% of people are truly wonderful, some a bit misunderstood, some have made mistakes but are still overall great people.

I have been doing whats right for 6 years now. And what i have learned is not good. While i tried to be kind to everyone i started to see that they started to use me more. And they started to see me as a fool. Being kind is like telling other people to walk over you to a better path then i should of been givin. I didnt want anything back from them. But they took more then then should of. They asked more then they should of. I tried being kind to them. But they were never kind to me. I am able to stop it. But being kind is who i am, and i cant stop being that. There will always be darkness in the light. Be careful WHO you are kind to. Do be kind to a person who would spread more evil then good. Be neutral with them. Be kind to those who will spread that kindness to others like them selfs.
