A comprehensive local guide with a choice of layouts! What was unusual was the use of two merger arrows (from left and right), which they seem to use a lot. Most places are not like that, with one from one side or the other, into one with a straight arrow, or none at all. Evidently no roundabouts or bus only lanes (all day, or part time ones) there! Ways of judging how close one is to a stop line on approach and if it would be OK to stop when the signal changes or not could be worth mentioning. E.g. when “warning lines” are provided to mark zones like that, or local objects that can help and so on. Another AMAZING video!!!

A thing which I have noticed novice drivers con fused by is a single set of traffic lights with four lights red, amber, green and filter box set out to the right which sometimes has an illuminated green right turn filter arrow. I have seen drivers stopped at the stop line despite a green light for all traffic and waiting for a green arrow. They do not seem to realise that you should turn right on the green traffic light but give way to oncoming traffic but when the green right filter arrow appears you have priority.

Really good video....this comment is for any lorry drivers that may be watching this (opinions are welcome)...i wish I watched this before a HGV test I failed on Friday. If you turn right after signal, theres no markings and the junction is very small to go offside to offside in a class 1 lorry is not going to happen without blocking anyone else opposite that wants to turn right (your left). Holding back for the next green light pretty much failed me my test. Best I can figure out now is you gotta go forward nearside to nearside once everything has cleared up .keep an eye on that left mirror for any last minute overtakes and make the turn remembering the lorry is 16.5 m. Because of the nearside/nearside maneuver remember to also check your right mirror; by now trailer wheels will be very very close to the curb behind you so when you finally make that right you actually need to turn the wheel a bit left as you go forward slightly to give you some space.....remember obstacles on your left side affected by the tail swing

Worth mentioning, that at 7.22 underneath the painted arrows you can see where the sensors have been placed (square tarmac overbanding) this is what activates the filter arrows. On many right turns I'm area if the 2nd car waiting does not stop on the sensor they are left stranded as the filter arrow dos'nt come on. Not a lot of info on that.

Could you please show us the point of turn if there is no turning box and no filter arrow? Many thanks👍
