Here’s the legal decision: “After an investigation, the district attorney's office decided not to press charges against Bonaduce. Bonaduce did not intentionally injure Fairplay and his "actions fell within the realm of self-defense,'' Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey Boxer wrote...”

Bonaduce did not intentionally injure Fairplay and his "actions fell within the realm of self-defense,'' Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey Boxer wrote. Danny and the shows production company paid Fairplay out of court in a civil suit because it was cheaper than paying lawyers… which Fairplay knew… which is why he sued.

So charges were not brought against Danny as reasonable force was used. Danny and fox were both sued and both settled with FairPlay, Danny’s settlement included cash and mandatory co appearances to be made with FairPlay. Pretty ridiculous a judge decided he had to make appearances together

Criminal charges weren't filed. Civil was a different story, danny and the channel ..production company ...whatever settled out of court.

Howard Robin anf the Bloated lawyer are idiots. If you see the video it was clear the guy was fooling around and that bonaduce could see exactly what was going on. Fairplay did not run at bonaduce hard at all and it was almost as if he was jumping into his arms and letting him know he was doing it. Bonaduce was being the badass he thought he was and intentionally threw him over his own head and the way he did it was negligient as hell because it was reasonably likely to cause serious injury. Any lawyer who actually saw the video would agree. Fatso did not and neither did the correction officer. Howard is just a wuss who is scared of being touched and robin just agrees with him but they are both dead wrong. I guarantee you if this guy was injured he got paid from Bonaduce and likely the show. What a ridiculous argument. Fred and Artie were absolutely right. Bonaduces response was totally unreasonable. Danny and the shows production company paid Fairplay out of court in a separate civil suit because it was cheaper than paying lawyers… which Fairplay knew… which is why he sued. Settling out of court is NOT winning.

He paid off Fairplay lol. It was excessive. If a 100lb man jumps on me, a 6'5 300lb person, I can't chokeslam him because he's on me. You can defend yourself as much as you absolutely need to, no more.

Robin and Howard are so stupid. That was excessive. Danny could have pushed him away. Not throw him. Robins a fool for how hard she fought it. Also, intent doesn't matter when you hurt someone. Robin thinks because he didn't intend to hurt him he's ok. Foolish.
