I can think of a lot of good applications for this, from blood pools, wax, mercury, portals, etc. , and changing the first step from make a circle to make a shape for cool effects.

This worked very well for me and I had fun with it, beats going on the internet and retracing it in Illustrator. I actually remade my icon to something simple thanks to your tutorial.

When I use the circle tool, the circle is expanded corner to corner, not center to radius. If I am making any sense, how do I change the settings to how your's does it?

@IceflowStudios Yes but I mean inside Photoshop.. Whats the dpi your using there.. the resolusion.. pixels/inch.. 72? 300?

@RobinRc666 Go ahead and create your layer styles and then use a smaller brush to push the circle around the way you want. That's my advice. :) I hope it works. Sorry about my other response, I miss understood the question. :P

Hey howard, when im trying to add the wavefilter i don't get the same pop-up that you get, mine has fewer options, could you tell me how to get yours?

@IggIdakilla My guess is that you either: 1) Have an outdated version of Photoshop. 2) Don't have Extended. 3) Have any plugin installed. If none of these are the case then I don't know.

@jakeycool8899 Thank you for the quick answer. Unfortunately I update my Photoshop constant. Also I got the extended Version with no Plugins installed. Thanks anyway, perhaps I will figure out myself. Perhaps may it be, that it has something to do with my german version of Photoshop?

@jakeycool8899 I'm so sorry for being such an idiot. I now figured out my fault. I just took the Filter Welle (the german word for wave), but the filter jused in the Video was Schwingung (german word for oscillation). Please excuse.
