Replacing the display can cause issues with Apple Pay. If possible, to reduce the likelihood of problems, delete all your Apple Pay account info before the replacement, and then re-enter it with the new display installed. Make sure to update your Apple Watch to watchOS 5 or later (and the paired iPhone to iOS 12 or later) to avoid pairing issues after a display replacement.

Why to use generic flexible tool if exist a specific tool called iFlex? It born in 2015 precisely to disassembly Apple Watch. The part that need to enter between frame and glass is slightly sharped to make easier to introduce in the gap 🤷‍♂️

Great tutorial. I have an s3 and the screen just fell off leaving me with only the rest of the watch. I want to buy a screen but how do I even know if the watch will work once I install it? Is there any way to know if it’s working even if it does not have a screen? I tried hard restart to see if it vibrates or shows up on my watch app or find my but no dice. Any pointers?
