I always thought the Rooney Rule should have been called the Davis Rule. In fact, Al didn't need a rule at all and did so years before anyone else.

Exactly. But definitely not giving Davis any credit. Nfl hated Davis. That’s why most fans love him.

Hahaha. A buddy of mine played TE for the Raiders. Said similar things about the Al Davis cologne. Worse than old ladies in Estee Lauder. Leisure Suit Al.

This is a pretty fun show ladies. :) Thank God Al Davis was unwilling to trade Howie Long as part of a package for John Elway back in 1983. Otherwise, Denver would still be a one horse cow town.
