this might actually be the most uncomfortable, awkward interview i’ve ever seen with knoxville. knox is known for being a gem to talk to. super easygoing, chill guy. bringing up bam was a cheap shot and egging it on was even worse. why would he want to talk publicly about one of his oldest friends suffering through addiction and turning on him?? knox is a star for making it through this. grateful at least jackie was doing her best to keep this interview on the rails

Exactly. I've watched several of Johnny's media appearances lately and he's gotten emotional while discussing friends and family and admitted he's gotten more sentimental as he's grown older. He was clearly emotional when the topic of Bam came up but Howie prodded him about capitalizing on the "feud" as if it were all a big joke.

They decided to cancel the show due to so many complaints. copycats, and restrictions etc, and had more freedom making the movies instead.

Also, have you seen Knoxville in an unedited anything, without the Jack-ass crew before? He's awkward, but so is most others. And Howie and his Daughter are going to behave in their usual way, because that's who they are. Would you prefer they adopted a fake persona and talked like a newscaster or act as though it's a press conference? Isn't the idea behind this to get to see these people as people, like....

Why does Howie make so many gross sexual jokes about Knoxville's kids in the first 10 minutes? Even Knoxville laughs once just to get past the awkwardness of the joke. Most dads don't like sex jokes in the same sentence as speaking about their daughter. It's weird.

this was a tough watch. either howie doesn't understand social queues or he thinks that this podcast is going to thrive off of making his guests as uncomfortable as he can and mismatching their vibes. at least you owned up to not having done your research. a simple google search could have told you that his parents had passed, that he's already mentioned on other interviews that he's a guy that likes to keep to himself, and that he isn't really blasting his name on his own youtube channel or even merchandise (he hasn't even released new shirt designs he said he would, one year ago). but the one thing you could have learned instead of using your time reading what bam is saying about him on tmz, is that knox does not talk badly about bam on the internet. and has simply stated multiple times that he loves bam and wishes him the best. you can literally see the light drain from knox's eyes when you brought it up and it's frustrating to see people keep doing that to knoxville for clicks and views and engagement when its clear he does not want to talk about it. you are lucky he stayed to keep talking after that because he just looked sad. and you pushed your luck with that ridiculous youtube argument, im even more surprised that he didn't walk out. knoxville is a good guy, he did not deserve to have to sit through this interview.
