I only recently started watching HR, but I have managed to watch a ton of your footage in a short period of time and there are some remarkable moments of impact with your various experiments. But I have got to say that the water balloon wrecking the pool table was the most impressive, simply because it was so unexpected. I thought the water would just splash sideways hitting the balls in all the directions. But this was incredible. Imagine waiting to catch it. Seems like it could catch you violently off guard. Pity you didn't have the phantom yet....

The water bomb was a complete surprise and now shows that they can be deadly if dropped on someone from greater heights. I learned that the reason why men die from suicide jumps from tall bridges is that water doesn't compress when they impact it. The water in the balloon didn't compress when it hit the slate table. There is a unique case where an ironworker plunged 150 feet into the Detroit River after falling off the Ambassador Bridge and he survived with bruises and some broken ribs and was released from the hospital the same day. Some of his equipment miraculously fell off him first and splashed into the water to breach a barrier in the water and create a softer landing for him. Before this incident, another worker fell from the bridge and died.

It's funny to see how much the water balloon caused the sides of the table to fly upwards, as compared to the pool balls and bowling ball. I figure this is because the water spread out and slammed into the downward-facing ramps on the sides of the table, and the sideways momentum of the water was converted into upward momentum of the sides.

Yup. From the looks of it, the bowling ball just went straight through because it didn't squish itself, but the balloon squished itself and the table had to take the full force of 4 pounds of water going 100mph (ouch).

You guys have done a lot with bowling balls, golf balls, exercise balls, basket balls, soccer balls, volley balls, tennis balls, ping pong balls, bouncy balls… But I don’t think you’ve done ENOUGH with pool/billiards balls. They are tough mothers and the eight ball is iconic and would be good thumbnail material.
