Hey Bro I really liked the last part. If I had a suggestion for you. Like ok you speak about how to behave around girls but I was thinking maybe you could go deeper. You stay a bit too much on the superficial level. Like for example, talk about your relationship with Julia. How did you guys met and what set her apart from the other women. Like what makes her a quality woman to you. And how you are to her a quality man. And how do you meet quality people. You seem to have friends like that. But yeah that's a grey topic for many people. But I think this is what a lot of people(at least quality people) should strive to to; meet other high quality people.

Find an auxiliary means of earning money even while you sleep. A pandemic is a perfect way to open your eyes to really see what life could be like without your usual income stream and everyone have to stay a home. Well; I never felt it because i invested in a trading film where i earn 4 digits per week. Power of financial literacy.

Just be careful cause when people know you’re too nice, they’ll take advantage of you. Always know to keep your guard up and never be afraid to say no.

It’s a balancing act IMO. Always having your guard up will make you anxious and paranoid. I think you should only be guarded around someone you’ve identified as an a-hole. You can firmly address them without it getting heated too.

At the very young age of 18 I learned that not all friends are who they say they are and some friends/people just don't care about you the way you think they do. I learned then while being outcast by everyone to adopt that mindset of "not giving a fuck". I learned that accepting yourself is the most important thing there is! Right now at the age of 22, having learned this lesson at a young age, I notice the benefits. Not pleasing people, not being afraid to be the "dumbest" guy in the lecture hall, choosing only the right people with the same mindset to be your friend, all very important things I've learned! Thanks for sharing your view and helping other people achieving this mindset 💪
@jbrock11

I think the confidence mostly comes with self improvement. The better you feel about you, the better everyone around you will feel about you. You can't have literally no selling points ( height, looks, etc. ) and expect to be confident in any situation. Getting in the gym and improving your physique should be #1 on peoples list, then prioritizing your grooming, fashion, etc. should be #2. Went through a lull like that in my late 20's when I wasn't working out much and gaining more weight and my confidence was shot. Now in my 30's I'm hitting the gym at least 4 times a week, staying on top of my grooming and wardrobe and I'm literally getting more women than I have at any point in my life. It's not necessarily that these things attract women ( they do ) but they ultimately give you the confidence and that's probably the most important thing of all.
@rayukk
@rayukk 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that input brother, I needed to hear that today. Im kind of torn between loving myself the way I am and improving myself (Why would I Need to Improve myself if I already love myself the way I am?). I have learned that women I ask (my therapist as well as my mother) will tend to recommend just loving yourself the way you are.
@jbrock11
@jbrock11 2 жыл бұрын
@@rayukk I've found that placating yourself or others never helps in the end though. I mean just look at it practically, would you want a girl who doesn't think very highly of herself or takes care of her looks? Probably not. Girls think the same way. It may take time and effort to improve yourself, but it's worth it.
@rayukk

@@rayukk It's mostly through experience of me just going through depression and self doubt to coming out the other side a better person. But some books that I like that relate to this would be.... Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for life David Goggins' Can't Hurt Me Jocko Willink's Extreme Ownership These are not necessarily self improvement books, more about taking control of your life so that you can do whatever it is that you want to do.

Just be careful, super easy to flip into the a$$hole category no one likes. The way I look at things is this, "I can't help you if I can't help myself." Apply that to everything you do and it'll make a world of difference. Group assignment in school? If you being the "nice guy" is going to end up with you frustrated and unhappy how is that helping yourself? It's not. So, help yourself by being assertive and making sure everyone is holding up their end. Be the leader rather than going with the flow. If someone tries to Alpha and you disagree speak up and stand your ground, guarantee that "Alpha" will back down eventually. Why? Because you possess a conviction they do not. You're not Alpha-ing here, you're Sigma-ing (look that up, I'll bet it suits your personality) there's a big difference. Anyway, good luck on the school year. 🤙
