If you're not worried about looks, and want to save time, add them all to a stocking and tie shut or into a wool sock and tie shut, then use it as that. Wool will act as an exfoliant while keeping soap contained :-) Cheap life hacks 101! Love your videos!
@everynewdayisablessing8509

Yes, my grandmother used to use a stocking for that. Ebay is actually selling tiny pouches/tie bags made out of some exfoliating stuff, the kind of stuff the sponges are covered with for washing your back. I prefer bar soap to shower gel. It is cheaper and more natural than all those shower gels. So much crap goes in those gels, but I hate when the soap gets small. My kids often mess with the soap, they split it into pieces or make silly shapes out of it and I buy organic soaps so they are not cheap so I finally decided to find a way to rebatch them. I'm not so keen on the stocking method and I don't have the melting pot. I need to find another method.

I think I'd do this instead. I used to grab a new bar and get it wet and use it a bit because they tend to lather really really good and I use that with the old soap bars like a glue to hold the other ones together. So I'd would just heat them up and with some new soap stuff just press them together and let it dry and it work good enough for washing hands at the sink.

When you factor in the costs of raising, slaughtering, transportation of the animals that the soap is made from and the cooking process, we’re doing the earth a small favor by doing this. I wonder how many vegans know what their soap is made from. But that’s a different video.
@mad4nertz
@mad4nertz 4 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I looked this up, and your soap will contain mostly animal fat if you see "tallow" or "sodium tallowate" on ingredients list. Other kinds of fats used in soap are olive oil or other kinds of vegetable oils. Good use of animals instead of wasting them: when other parts are used to feed people or overpopulated animals starve to death.
@mad4nertz
@mad4nertz 4 жыл бұрын
Another point I like to ponder is, what purpose(s) did God have In killing the first animal after mankind's initial disobedience?
@mad4nertz
@mad4nertz 4 жыл бұрын
As a disclaimer, I would also like to point out that God commanded humans to be kind to their animals. Such as Proverbs 12:10. But he never said they were the equals of humans. We live in a fallen world, and people do sin against animals as well as their fellow man. However, no longer having to kill animals or defend ourselves from them is for a future era, outside of our current realm.
