On Baizhu and Kaveh's first banner i really wanted both of them. I went almost to pity and lost my 50/50 and then went almost to pity again and got Baizhu, but i didn't get a single Kaveh. He's the only 4 star i don't have. Please... please come home...

While he does feel like a cheap Nilou/Alhaitham in most of the teams he can be used, he's still one of my favorite characters, personality wise, in this game. So I had to build him. So far, my favorite team is a bloom based team: Kaveh: 4 piece Deepwood, Favonious Greatsword, full EM on artifact. Xingqiu: usually DPS build Yelan: usual DPS build C6 Sacrificial Bow Diona. The idea is that XQ and Yelan's strong hydro application will keep the hydro aura on the opponents so you can guarantee that Kaveh is the bloom trigger, thus only needing EM on him. XQ also provides resistance to interruption for Kaveh while he's attacking. Diona's C6 will give him 200 extra EM, that he misses because of the Favonious Greatsword being used as weapon. It's a good balance, because then Kaveh has the opportunity to trigger Fav at least 2 times while on field, helping all the team's ER needs and Diona can keep him alive with her heals/shield

I built Kaveh to play burgeon. Deep down I know most of the damage is probably done by Xinqui and Thoma but its alright, cause the only thing I see is Kaveh and some big numbers popping on screen.

Tbh they fk him up by giving dendro vision His best team is with nilou or bloom and most of the time hydro characters in those team are build as triggerer and full em. They want kaveh to be bloom trigger plus build full em yet they make the hydro to be better element to do. If he has hydro vision he would be one of good option for nilou team cus of the buff he give to bloom he trigger Also why his energy cost is that high when his brust do is only infusion and nothing else

How has my boy never gotten a rerun? Wall of text below regarding the text pop-up in the video: I cutout a whole rambly section talking about how Furinas C2 and Nahida C2 makes little difference for this video (it was too long and too off topic from just doin Kaveh things so I didn't find it worth including, and Id rather keep my videos a bit more focused on the fun stuff). But if you care, below is basically what I cut out: Xianyun is already so good of a healer with Furina that C2 is just getting dmg% sooner with her, but the dmg% is still the same total value, and with an invested Xianyun you get max dmg% quickly regardless. C2 Furina makes a difference for non-ideal healers paired with Furina, not ones like Xianyun who has healing exactly made to synergize with Furina. I disclose when I am trying to abuse Furinas C2 when it is relevant. In this video it is irrelevant enough that I decided it wasn't even worth including in the video. C1 Furina is more relevant than C2 in this case, but I digress. Pertaining Nahida C2: we aren't using Electro, which means no 30% def reduction. The only value Nahida C2 is then giving is the blooms critting. This is 20% fixed crit rate with 100% crit damage, which is a 20% overall increase to bloom dmg in this team. That may seem big, but this team is not doing entirely bloom damage--it is not a Nilou team--so it is not a 20% team DPS upgrade. If the bloom damage is doing 50% of the team damage in this video, then it means Nahida C2 is only increasing the team DPS by about 10%. But that is only IF bloom damage was 50% of the team DPS. I've not done hardcore tracking of what percentage of team DPS the bloom dmg was, but I highly doubt it was 50% (the exact % would depend on context quite a bit). Point being, Nahida C2 is realistically at best a 5-10% team DPS increase in practice. It makes more of a perceptual difference in this video than it actually does for the teams performance. So if all other factors were the same for you on your account trying to play this team, but you don't have Nahida C2, you would expect abyss clears to potentially take a few seconds longer. It may be the difference between having to optimize your play a bit more than I had to (or require having a stronger team the other abyss side), but it is not the difference between being able to clear at all. Sometimes Nahida C2 can make a significant difference, but in this video it (and Furina C2)didn't, hence my decision to cut my 5 minutes of rambling about this from the video. I'm saying all this for anyone who may overestimate the significance of some of these constellations sometimes. The nature of supportive constellations is that they aren't always relevant. I'd turn them off if I could for videos to prove this, but I cannot. Ultimately, having Xianyun, Furina, and Nahida at all to make this Kaveh team function is of FAR more importance than the minor upgrade of having a couple constellations. It is fun to see blooms crit of course though lol. I am actually glad I didn't end up with Xianyun C2/her weapon in hindsight too, as that WOULD make a meaningful difference. Praise the gacha gods for at least keeping that more relatable for me lol.

I think levelling him from 80 to 90 makes a significant difference because bloom is a transformative reaction and scales by level

The Kaveh + Furina + Nahida + Cloud retainer team is literally my team in the overworld and I was so happy when I cooked it by my self. Overall it feels very fun to play but I will say that you need a lot of investment into it because my characters from it are mostly half-built so I am having a hard time fighting bosses.

Kaveh is hands-down my favorite character and this video makes my heart SING. I really like your build!! My Ka-BLOOM team is C2 Nahida with her sig, Nilou, Kokomi, and of course C6 Kaveh. 💚💚💚 I went all out for him and it's so fun to let him go ham with his burst.

I clear Abyss with Kaveh and Nilou, it's really comfy that Kaveh is the only one who heals from bloom, i like him chilling out in the sea of Nilou's bombs with full HP while enemies die lol

as a Kaveh main, his best team is a C6 Kaveh bloom team (build EM EM crit, favonius, no er subs, just crit and EM) and teams is Xingqiu, Fischl and C2 Nahida, doing same damage as a Burgeon Thoma so pretty good for aoe on abyss, he's doing bloom and aggravate with decently high damage

Another great off-the-beaten-path video! I like that you used Kaveh in a Bloom team specifically as well as recognizing that he has the advantage of claymore character plunge modifiers. He doesn't feel "tacked on" to this team at all. I hope when he finally reruns, C6 comes home to you quickly and easily.

Got Kaveh 2 months ago on the standard banner and wanted to build him since then bc I adore him, but I didn’t know HOW to build him. Your video helped me get some inspiration! Unfortunately I skipped Xianyun and Furina, so I guess I still need to improvise 😅

Kaveh is a pretty fun character, especially whit Nilou. If you do it correctly, Kaveh whit Xingqiu he becomes FKNG INMORTAL, and it’s not even close. He could go head on onto the 3 onis in THAT ONE abyss and he just wouldn’t die, and there’s some recordings HAHA. His problem is that… well… the rest of the team does not have sustain, and going Furina is just suicide most of the time. And the other problem is that, even tho alongside Nilou he’s BIS, the difference is soooo unnoticeable and the other Nilou teams are MUCH MORE comfortable… well, that speaks for itself.

i built him a few weeks ago despite having Alhaitham and i really only built him for fun and he’s very very fun. not great if you’re in seek of damage, but good if you have an end game account and want some fun.

I love him. Literally just 36* cleared the abbyss with him. My team was Kaveh Spreadbloom - Kaveh, Furina, Fishl and Baizhu. My Kaveh is invested as a spread DPS, he mainly has attack and crit and hes using Beacon.

Man this takes me back to when I was cooking with Kaveh lol He's such a strange case since theoretically he should've been a fridge/freezebloom dps, but his energy needs and his being a claymore user just doesn't allow for it. It's also a really good lesson in bloom priority since if you have Kaveh+hydro, the hydro has bloom priority. If you have Kaveh+hydro+hydro, the bloom priority is back to Kaveh and synergizes with his kit for the most part. And if you leave it at that, you then have the very obvious energy needs that get in the way of him bursting every rotation or having maximized bloom damage. So you bring in a second dendro to help, and then THEY get bloom priority (according to Kaveh mains at the time). Which isn't totally bad on Nahida if you have a 1k EM build on her, but still it devalues Kaveh being on his full EM build...except if you put him on Ocean Hued Clam instead to maximize the heal-to-damage potential lol Also this might be forbidden knowledge, but I just want to point out if you put Kaveh on a hybrid build then his healing should overcap and help out with Furina fanfare stacks in a not-insignificant way. So...hybrid Kaveh in the future?

I have my Kaveh lvl 90 triple EM on fav and he clears everything in the game with ease! *hides my c1r1 Nilou and r1 Nahida that I use him with* It’s definitely him that’s carrying haha wdym

Even though I became a Kaveh main from a friendship farmer just a few months back, it gives me joy when I see Kaveh mains in coop and I have surprisingly met at least four of them in domains. Kaveh is pretty famous in the windtrace event too. I've had some hilarious interactions with other Kavehs and Alhaithams in windtrace lmao. Especially how people changed to Alhaitham anytime someone uses Kaveh

Love this video! I think a lot of people who play genshin treat character building like a jigsaw puzzle in the sense that they think there's one "correct" final picture that you should be working towards. I prefer treating it like a box of lego. Sure, maybe it came as a set and there's an intended way to put all the pieces together, but that doesn't mean you can't build something else instead. Idk, I've always thought one of the most enjoyable things about genshin as a game is that you can pretty much clear all the content even while ignoring meta. Like sure, seeing crazy big numbers and one-shotting bosses can be satisfying in its own way, but imo the game is most fun when you just build your favourite characters in whatever way your heart desires bc you can usually figure out weird team comps and synergies to make things work regardless.

I love using Kaveh! I have two teams that I use. The first one I thought it was kinda boring, but it's nice actually: Kaveh in Nilou Bloom team. I thought Kaveh would just be a worse Nahida, but actually he's the best Nilou driver (or the most comfortable to play with) because he heals from blooms and has a lot of interruption resistance. I even used him against the Tulpa with this team. The second one is actually my favorite, and it's pretty similar to your team. I use Kaveh, Fischl, Xianyun and Furina. It's very fun and it uses the most of everyone's kit, imo: - Kaveh's high MV from the plunges, can still proc blooms (and heal from it), and do Spread damage. Also, his damage is buffed by Xianyun and Furina, just like yours. - Fischl doesn't usually proc hyperbloom, but her A4 allows to do extra Aggravates for every Quicken Kaveh's do. Her damage is also buffed by Furina. - Xianyun's buffs matter a lot for Kaveh's damage, and her Anemo AoE for each plunge can sometimes proc Hyperbloom (it's not much, but it's extra damage, that usually is higher than the blooms), and Kaveh's long CD allows more time spent on Xianyun, so I can actually use her skill with 3 jumps and no need for only 1 jump (and maybe even do a little of taser driver things for a little while). - Furina will buff everyone in the team, including her (only not buffing the bloom, hyperbloom, electrocharge and swirl damage). But all of these characters, excluding Fischl, are C0, and for this plunge Kaveh team, it's best to use him on Fav, so his damage is way lower than yours (and you're not even doing spread damage xD). I'll try your team another time to see if I can clear abyss with it as well, even with Furina and Nahida being C0.

Honestly, I fell in love with Kaveh and Dori’s Charged Attack and built them both off of that. Kaveh has Skyward Pride, and 4pc Heart of Depths. (Used to play him with Candace, after a while I stopped doing that and just utilizes the 4pc effect only.) Dori has Favonius Greatsword, and 4pc Shimenawa (I’ve tried other builds before but … this is the one that stuck, and her C6 makes it even funner.) I decided to build them at the same time, so I ended up making a team of; Kaveh, Dori, Sara, and Yaoyao. Yaoyao is there for the Dendro Resonance, plus her C1. Sara was there because … my Bennett is C6’d … (no regrets, Pyro rules!) it was a plus since Sara already buffs ATK and can give the team Electro Resonance (plus, as a Bow user, she can shoot the weak points in Ruin Machines, so … yippee!)

Yay Kaveh content, but with signature Soluna team building spice (I now unofficially dub this comp spring bloom). I’ve missed seeing this man so much idk why Hoyo refuses to release him from the basement. I managed to get a 3rd Beacon just for him this past Chronicled, but I still desperately need his cons! Back on debut I only managed to get C0 and had to go past pity to do so, which at least thankfully was a Diluc so I could guarantee his roommate (and teammate cuz I play them together in spread META be damned). Flash forward to now and I’m at 71 pity (Kuki & Kirara together was too good & I hit Ayato early) and looking at 5* leaks only to see if any are likely to be someone he’d run on and if I can tolerate having that character or if I should sacrifice a few of my savings to reset my pity. So far if the current 4.6 lineup stands precisely as is, I’m gonna hold out. Really REALLY praying he comes 2nd half because that would be a massive *W* for me (or preferably at least 2 for C4 😉).

This is relatable gameplay skill, lol. I've been playing plunge Chongyun with Xianyun but the circle impact from Chongyun's infusion is annoying, at least Kaveh doesn't have to deal with that. I feel it's quite hard to aim claymore plunges properly especially when you're trying to dash cancel

KAVEH CONTENT i started playing in december 2023 and kaveh's the 2nd character i ever got and he hasn't left my team since along with kirara who was the first character i pulled LOL my team is kirara, kaveh, kazuha, and barbara and i really love playing them together :3

I feel like Kaveh’s uniqueness is that he self-heals from core damage, so he is, most likely, intended to be a Burgeon driver (as he heals instead of taking dmg) Sure, he could have a universal dendro bloom damage bonus to facilitate and incentivize his usage outside a cheap Nilou gimmicky or even being outclassed by Baizhu in every form of driving +dendro bonuses. Nonetheless, Architect buddy works the best alongside Thoma + Xingqiu + any other (probably dendro, yaoyao/nahida) in my opinion

I tried to play as Kaveh + Furina + Thoma + Bai Zhu/Kazuha (depends on situation). Obviously not a meta team but surprisingly comfortable one for exploring and fightings. And i also don't like to build Kaveh with EM - in my opinion, Kaveh is better with standart crit/atk build with gladiator for example

Yay for Kaveh appreciation!!! I farmed Flower of Paradise Lost for Kaveh..... the good thing is that I was able to build Kuki, Scara and Raiden as well. And I also got C1 Baizhu trying for One copy of Kaveh.... he's forever C0 now.....

I have to admit, sometimes I dislike the fandom because of situations like this. Not every character is meta but I can assure them that there is someone who likes Kaveh, Xinyan, Razor, Mika, Dehya, that tries to get their constellations no matter what. Not every character should be like Neuvillette, now even the people that love Kaveh cannot even get him :/ and sometimes, it's a skill issue cause I have seen people 36 star the abyss with starter characters. Some people blame the characters but not their skill. Thank you for this showcase!

I saw someone clear abyss using c1 Kaveh bloom without furina or Nahida or Nilou (baizhu + yelan + xingqiu) recently and it inspired me to give him a go on bloom again. I’ve managed to do decent damage using him on a spread plunge team (I have cracked artifacts + nahida) but I like the idea of using him in a way that fits his design…

My preferred to play Kaveh is quick bloom with Collei, Xingqiu, and Kuki, I'd replace Collei with Nahida and Xingqiu with Yelan on my main account because they are better. It's alright of a team and I don't have to wait for Kaveh's cooldown, it's big problem is it just need both EM, ER, and Crit stats. I'd put GD set on Kaveh to worry about EM.

See I have Nahida and Furina but I don’t have xianyun, I’m unsure what I should put in the last slot and making teams for him is so confusing. Should I do beidou for spread or kaeya for shatterbloom or is there another character I can use..

He was my tipping point to finally start playing (but I had finals so like 5 days after Providence/Banner ended) Now... idk if his 5-star is Baizhu or Nilou, he's mine (kinda hope its Nilou ; I like her a lil more and 2 artsy people AH)

I think that is less that he's a 10% Nilou she more that he's kinda-sorta Nilou's equivalent of Sara/Gorou/Faruzan/Chevreuse, buffing her off field damage and removing the negative side effects of Bloom.

I also play my kaveh Bloom with furina and koko and nahihi♡ if I want hyperbloom, I ll switch nahihi out for fischl, I do my best to use my fave characters

you can just do one normal attack (can animation cancel) instead of dashing to do a plunge attack so the character's plunge range would be closer to the enemy.

My c6 triple crowned boy getting the appreciation he deserves

Kaveh-Nilou bloom used to be a worse version of Alhaitham-Nilou bloom, but with Furina it actually feels superior to me. The reason being, Alhaitham-Nilou-Baizhu-Yelan feels good, but lacks Furina's damage contribution. Furina insted of Yelan is uncomfortable with Alhaitham, because she puts him in constant danger with her HP drain. Kaveh-Nilou-Baizhu-Furina feels really good and comfortable to play, with Furina being a godly buffer and sub DPS + Kaveh is rosy-cheeked thanks to his self-healing. I don't have Nahida, so I can't compare options that include her, but Kaveh's ER problem can be resolved without her through ER sands, substats and weapon (after a lot of experimenting, I settled on Melusine claymore).

ngl, I was excited when i saw this in my recommended because I've been trying to play Kaveh, but I was a bit disappointed to see it's just another xianyun plunge claymore team. I understand it's hard to make a character like him viable and xianyun gives great buffs. Nonetheless it's still very decent damage output and I am happy to see some Kaveh appreciation.

Kaveh is the reason I cleared my first abyss a couple month ago when they had all the enemies with those geo shields. Just him being my most invested character able to break the shield that I could fit in a strong enough team. If I wouldve had Alhaitham, Nahida, or even Baizhu at the time I wouldve never built Kaveh and probably wouldve never cleared or 36 stared the abyss until this most recent one

MY boy is still C0 but I triple crowned him anyway (I run him on the same team but Nilou who I didn't actually want but they work really well together anyway bc no matter the EM she just cannot kill the babygirl; ofc the others can absolutely die but they are only there for the meet and greet and he overheals so Furina keeps giving booboo kisses on that, so...) Now I might wana get more artifacts to modify his current EM/dendro dmg hybrid build to go with Xianyun, though...

the irony is that being dendro is detrimental form make his functions, bloom es reaction with direction like vaporize and melt, and the weak reaction is from a hydro attack to a dendro aura enemy, so literally kaveh actually work if he was hydro insted of dendro, the second option for him is make him gain the ownership of the dendro cores with his skill, burst and C6, so it doesnt matter who make the core, they will use Kaveh EM, kinda like how kuki and thoma work, until that happend his kit is kinda disfuncional

Please make a overload team with Kuki,Chevreuse,c6 benny and razor and do a damage showcase if possible 😊
