I’ve been running my Garmin xero for 3 years now and it’s a game changer. I realize that most western states don’t allow it, but being from the south and hunting Midwest where it is allowed, I can’t see using any other sight. The ability to draw and range, range again, and range again is priceless when hunting rutting white tails. Thanks for video and looking forward to more in depth review.

Nice !, I have a couple of Q's if you don't mind. #1 - Are there fixed pins when no time or close to range ? , #2 - how long would you say the process to ranging takes ?
@kurtmayes9986
@kurtmayes9986 6 ай бұрын
@@kylemacdonell1450 you press and hold button, line dot up in circle on deer and release for your pin to appear. So honestly like 2 or 3 seconds once you get used to it. And you have the ability to have fixed pins while not using the range function, you just have to change it in the program of sight.

@@kurtmayes9986 Thank-you, My worry is when an animal is close and moving semi quickly , I don't want to have to range due to time requirements wont allow it.

@@kylemacdonell1450 I have never had any problems with not being able to range, but you always can swap really quick to fixed pins. I believe you just hit your range button twice for fixed pins. I don’t have my bow with me to verify that at the moment though

Great if you want to switch between light and heavy arrows depending on game. Integrated lzr rng finder is nice when the animals come from an unexpected area or just seem to pop up out of nowhere. Been shooting mine since last year. Things I don't like is the rangefinder dot comes up in the top of the lens vs vs my 20yd pin which will be in the middle, then you need to check that it didn't pull some crazy distance and set a pin for 4yds or something. I've used in rain with no issues. Certainly a luxury and sometimes I think of going back to a single pin black gold...

A great scope. Very versatile in use. Fortunately, it is legal in Finland. I hope you get it legal in every state.

As a new (older) guy to the Archery/Bowhunting world I have been looking at this site very strongly. While I love the idea of simplicity, the concept of integrating the rangefinder and site into a single unit that accounts for distance and angle is a huge plus to me. Icing on the cake is not having to squint with my old eyes to see a sight tape, something that is hard in bright light and darn near impossible in dim light. Would love to see your review before I plunk down the money.

I have the hoyt ventum 30 and the Garmin zero a1i and man let me tell yea amazing combo. It is heavy but small penalty compared to all the benefits of having an accurate range finder right on your sight. Crazy your state won't let you use this sight. It doest shoot a visible Lazer or red dot. Siic sight though. Cheers 🍻

Cannot understand these not being legal in some states. It's a sight that ranges the target and makes your shot more accurate. WTF?

Which 2023 bow has the least holding weight at 70lb? I’m looking at the Phase 4 33”, Hoyt VTM 34”, or the Bowtech SS34”. Thank you if you find time to answer this question.

You know, I have a $400 Vortex Ranger Rangerfinder x1500 yds and a $100 Trophy Ridge 7 Pin Fixed Sight...And together they weigh maybe a lil more than half the weight and combined about 60% less in $$$...And not being a competitive archer but on a good day can do this 🎯 with a tennis ball at 80 yds., I think it's 🤪 to spend this kind of 💵 💰 on a sight that costs as much or a lil more than a top end bow...That's just plain mishugana, you know, 🥜!!

Cool, yes. Great for hunting, yes. Great for TAC, not really, even with the XD mode. And the price needs to come down below $1000. Of course, people are selling stabs for nearly $300 these days so 🤷‍♂ It's so heavy it's a sight / range finder / stabilizer.... new math.

Those sites are to expensive but it is a really nifty idea. I wouldn't send my money on that site though. I would rather buy another bow maybe a Z1S or one of the new Bowtech's, so many cool new features on the Bowtech's.

For anyone interested, this price of kit will make WHATEVER BOW you own- 300% more lethal. I own the original and am saving for the PRO model. DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE SIGHTS. I stack arrows at 100m with these things.
