Los-Angeles native Connie Lim, better known as MILCK, has been singing for as long as she can remember. She began crafting her talent at a young age by enrolling in classical piano and opera classes. Inspired by artist from Frederic Chopin to Radiohead and Imogen Heap, she experienced something of an awakening in her college's underground piano rooms.
While her song "Devil Devil" hit success, it wasn't until her anthem "Quiet" made waves at the 2017 Women's March and on the internet, garnering over 14 million Facebook plays in 2 days and sparking the #ICanttKeepQuiet movement.
With the goal to help people feel empowered, she sings for the relentless, the vulnerable, and the brave.

I think the original has a very mournful, almost ghostly flare that makes it special, but your take is bold, dangerous and could even be interpreted as bitter. Hozier's cover is a fey, yours is something else.

I almost didn't listen to this song because I wore it out when Hozier brought it out, but I'm so glad I did. I only heard of you when I watched The Bold Type finale. One song lead to another and another... Your voice and music as a whole is so powerful, and I love that. I enjoy your music very much.

I love the original by Hozier but this cover i feel like it takes a very mournful ghostly song and turn it into something that feels empowering and dangerous and I absolutely love it.

I'm okay, just reached a point where I didn't think I could continue after a few years of what seems like consistent problems, such as my father currently in his final months of life, and many others that just feels like it never seems to let up. With that said, I'm okay now, I promise. I learned from it and won't hesitate to seek out help the next time it gets that bad. Thank you once again for the kind words. Keep making the music you make! PS: I have loved and listened to Devil, Devil for years without knowing much about you or your other tracks. Had just listened to it minutes earlier and Spotify started playing this song, which I have listened to probably 25 times since hearing it. It now really has some emotion tied to it now for me. i know this version is such a contrast to hozier's version in terms of how it sounds. hozier sounds mournful, and this version sounds angry but why do i feel so sad when this version is played.
