Thanks so much, you're the only one who teaches us how to set up the Wi-Fi setup perfectly. Hope I could message you if I encounter some problems. I was already on the IP address and didn't know I have to press the I (Information), waited for 1+ hours and don't know how to proceed and just gave up.

Thanks for the video. My main problem is I can't get the HP Smartapp on my phone (android 7) or my Samsung tablet (android 5) Is there another way to install wifi, maybe using the IP numper of my 2700 printer?

You can use your PC (Laptop) download HP smart app from google play store on your PC the search for available printer and connect your printer to WIFI on your PC

You need to put the printer in a wireless mode by pressing WIFI button and cancel button together simultaneously for 3 seconds to put the printer in a wireless mode then search the printer again

You need to check the WIFI light on the printer to see if it steady blue light and already connected , the app may take longer time to update or finish the connection, if it is already connected then you need to log off from the app and log back in then select option two to connect printer already connected to a WIFI Network

@Mae switch you location and Bluetooth should be on and turn your printer on . You also need to check if your printer is wireless or USB connect only or both?

What is the make and model of your printer? are you connecting your printer using HP SMART app?

At Jason did you find your WIFI details ? is your printer wireless and what model?, you can uninstall the HP SMART APP reinstall it again to search for available printer.

You need to check you are using the correct Ink cartridges, once loaded turn printer off and turn it back on , Can I asked did you connect you printer to WIFI network or USB cable as you need to connect the printer to network to be able to print, scan and copy

The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.

It could be for many reasons if the ink cartridges are not install or if one is missing , or running out or paper jam issue or no paper . So I wouldn't know if you don't explain what you are trying to do on the printer .

So to be clear. You did not have to use a PC at all in this . I don’t want a new printer if I have to hook it up through a pc. I only want to use my iPhone.

If you connect with your iPhone you don't do anything with your PC, just download HP smart app on your iPhone then search and add your printer, type in your WiFi Password for your printer to be connected. From HP smart app you can select print, copy and scan from your phone.
