Thank you so much for the service you provide. This clear, simple video demystified the process of cleaning the printheads, which Staples did not explain to me. You just saved me an $80.00 service charge for a repair person to come to my house and do what you explained, plus the cost of two new printheads @65.00 each, or $130.00 plus tax. Staples does not sell printheads to support the printers they sell, by the way.They told me that I would have to order them online. Since I live in Canada, I would probably have had to wait up to two weeks for delivery. So all in all, you saved me $220.00 plus tax, almost as much as I paid for the printer in the first place, and all the printheads needed was a good cleaning.

Even if it's an easy job to replace things like this it always helps to watch a well done instructional video like yours because you never know, there could be some little thing that you miss when doing it unsupervised or without previous technical knowledge that totally ruins the whole process or the new parts you're attempting to use!

Very good instructional video except for the loud music track. I little music bed is fine, but should be almost not noticeable. I see others below reacted the same way. Please re render with almost no music volume and repost and people will be happy.

Thank you so much. My printer would not print yellow. I cleaned the printheads per your instructional and now I have yellow! BTW I liked the music and it corresponded to the volume of the instructions....so I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Music drove me to the point of stopping the video. BAD BAD BAD to have that music so dang loud. PLUS, the video doesn't really say anything about unplugging a clogged printhead which is what I am looking for.

Google "How to clean clean printheads and contacts for and HP Officejet Pro 8500 and after cleaning, it Might recognize all 4 ink cartridges and test print all 3 colors and B&W cartridges! If not, try cleaning the cartridge and contacts again! Please redo video WITHOUT ANNOYINGLY LOUD MUSIC!!!
