The concept remains same. Keep fueling on deceleration with negative spark timing. DFCO should be in most of, or if not all, factory tunes and is the place to start.

Assuming HP tuners supports v6 Camaros then yes in theory it should work. The principle is the same, just need to modify the numbers to match the application.

I think you're doing it wrong,DFCO should be disabled for pops or back fire to work. If DFCO is enabled it will cut off fuel on decel which is something you dont want

Its not that simple since DFCO encapsulates a number of different tuning variables, and in my case and on/off option does not exist. You can tune it out by setting certain variables to be unachievable but then the tune will never leave the spark run table and you're still stuck with no pops and burbles until you modify the spark run table to have negative timing in the right areas when off the gas. The alternative is if the tune goes into DFCO you can easily set the timing negative and set the DFCO Fuel Cut Delay to the max crank references at 65,535 which gives about 11 seconds of pops with a 58x reluctor at a constant 6k rpm.

@@sidvicious01 'more' negative spark timing will. Try -5, then -15 and you'll notice a difference.

@PapaPapaTon oh ok I got small pops now but haven't mess with the spark tables none I think at the start they are -3 but then go to positive 5 or so
