Cheers man, sorry for the late reply... They are baja wheels and tyres. Bow ties from Proline. Offer great grip! they are a bit soft wearing for a heavy baja but on this overweight savage they seem to work really well. PLUS NO BALLOONING

Very good job! Now I want one too!

thanks for the comment. At the end of the day, with such a heavy truck... weighing in at the top of 18lbs, with large very heavy wheels and tyres and im pushing the 1520 motor to his max in both Power and Weight. So i thought it would be best to keep the size of the pinion down to aid temperatures. I am thinking about putting some regular badlands with my SPIs and putting a 14t pinion and seeing what it can really do.

Thanks bud... it was a small DIY Shop here in london

Yup. Right on its limits. But it is ok, i do not run the truck much at all and i have around 3 spare motors. It was more to test and see how it handled because i found the 1520 to work so well. On cool days the motor was as long as you did not go crazy with full throttle runs, but on a hot day you would have problems with heat escalating. Nothing a little break couldn't fix. Luckily here in the UK, it is never that hot.

Thanks bud... I am interested to see what it can really do on tarmac as the centre diff does give more power to the front so it makes it more controllable to drive on grass... So with some lighter wheels and better grip.. i think it should def surprise people a little more

Hi Bud, Thank you for the comment. Honestly, i do not know the name of the song. I ripped it from a music video on KZfaq, but the video has since been removed. I heard the full song once but i do not remember where... Honestly it was rubbish. The only bit which was decent was the loop that was taken from it.

Hey Josh, where have you been? The vid is great, loving the on board footage, especially the forward flip crash, epic!

It is a ice HV 160amp 12s capable ESC for planes and helis. But it works really well.... It is not as smooth as a car specific ESC and does not have motor brakes. but I can live with that.
@jahay8711 жыл бұрын
Yes at those calculations it is running on the safer side of the motors capabilities... but i usually calculate it @3.7V The motor does run hot but it is more of an all out truck for 5 mins at a time, then i bring it in to make sure everything is fine. It is a lot more worrying to bash about unlike a stock flux but i just wanted to try something different.

I cannot remember but it was geared for 88mph on 9s or something... Obviously not achieving those speeds... But the grass and grip was definitely limiting what it could reach..> Lets put it on tarmac and see what it can really do

@12345Bazzoka - YOOOOOO JOEEEE AND ANDYYY!!!! ill type a message to you both here. Been staying away from RC for a short while to get my life on track... I have put the savage away temporarily. PLUS... im always on my iPad and for some reason MSUK doesnt work from it? So when i want to post i cant.... Hope you are all keeping well..

10/46 gearing on 9s in such a big and heavy truck is pushing the motor to its limits or even slightly beyond them. What was the temperature of the motor?

this is an awesome truck but you can't really call it a savage flux cos nothing about it resembles a savage and none of the parts are what you would find on a savage.

9s aint gonna do shit on a 1600kv
@momofx760012 жыл бұрын
This is not really a flux anymore - kinda like Nascar where the cars "appear" to be what their body resembles ie a. Camry, etc. lol. Just saying, its not a Flux at all anymore...
