That keyboard solo just blows my mind. Amazing stuff.

The Brecker Brothers have set the bar for leading edge Jazz players to aspire to. Michael, God rest his soul, was and will always be the ultimate Sax player's sax player. His artistry and musical imagination is years ahead of it's time. His brother Randy shares in that incredible talent that goes beyond the ordinary musical status quo. To be quite honest these guys have done things with their instruments I never thought possible. These are brothers who shared an incredible talent and their collaberations have been a musical blessing to us all. Randy still thrills jazz audiences all over the globe and I believe him to be a national treasure. This recording was a combination of what I consider is 6 of the most talented practitioners of Fusion Jazz at that or any other time in this musical idioms history. If you haven't gone to a live performance of Randy Brecker playing with his band or hearing him solo live in big band performances etc... then you are surely missing out on an awesome experience.

This something i heard when i was really really young, i was born in 1991. It was mysterious, and one of those game changing inspiring sort of things. For some reason i dont see alot of people recognizing the brecker brothers.
