Possibly the craziest drumsolo ever. Saw them on the North Sea Jazz Festival back then. I had brainfood for months.

david vargas that sounds like his ring modulator...not dialled up like Miles Beyond (Inner Worlds) but just enough to give the guitar tone a bit of attitude.

Basil Ganglia if you love JM then you're used to abrasive argumentative guitar tones :p He's deliberately messing up the tone with a ring modulator (same device used for Dalek sound effect lol). It sounds rough edgy...and quite delicious to these ears :)

OMG! One of my favorite of all times but the bass??? When he he gets it right, he's boring but even worse, he gets it wrong most of the times..I don't mean to be over-critical but, I've been listening to JML all my life and I can't figure out what he was thinking with the bass-dude...
