No, it was funny but it has no soul. She's not feeling the lyrics. It's a song about love, not about glamour. Sharpay liked the attention, the show. She didn't care about music.

I would love to hear this with Troy if he was prepared and actually into the song with Sharpay. Him being surprised does his part no justice. I wonder how much more this song would rock if Troy was prepared and ready to rock out with her. I prefer Zac and Vanessa's version, but will say that Ashley's is more entertaining, but the first version is better, mainly because Zac harmonizes with Vanessa really well, Ashley and Zac aren't harmonizing.
