LOL I've seen HM 2 many times but I never owned the DVD. Even though this was my first time seeing this scene it's not my first time hearing the song. I used to have the sound track and when it came to this song I used to think this is strange I don't remember this song from the movie at all!

Well, it's not really English, it's Hawaiian, but humuhumunukunukuapahaa is a state fish, they didn't know this, they just knew of the word, people who knew would think it was Dumb, so they took it out

Because some Hawaiians decided it was inappropriate cause Sharpay "has no business singing this song". So to make part of the masses happy, Disney removed it. If you have Disney+ you can watch this song in the movie.

This is the German version. We have the songs in English, they aren’t translated. That is why a lot of German children think that when singing your voice changes a lot when in reality that is not the case.😂
