The problem with keeping Sato unconscious is that he can control his ghost even if under the sedatives, making them basically useless since he can just kill himself with his ghost, nullifying their effects. He did it in season 2 near the finale. Killing him repeatedly might be the best solution under that condition since that stops him from using the ghost by severing his connection with it...

Satō is easily one of the most intimidating antagonists I've seen, such a smart and cunning killer that knows how to utilize his powers effectively.

I loved how the last revelation of the series took away all the fear an Ajin could have except the testing rooms.

Everyone I know hates that the anime adaption is done in 3D but I legitimately LOVE Ajin. The 3D animation makes each character's movement feel like they carry weight, same goes for the IBM's themselves. The soundtrack for the anime is great, the English dub is surprisingly good (HELLO??? ENGLISH DUBBED SATO???) and the story itself is great. My favourite character spot is split between Mr. Sato and Izumi, but I love every single one of the main cast. Brilliant anime, another great survival vid! Sorry for this being lengthy, I'm just really passionate about this anime for,, no reason--

The reason they were using that technique to incapacitate Sato like that is because they really didn't knew abt the black ghost...it's a good technique given the context and it was to provide time for the experts to incapacitate him cerebraly imho

it took me some times to get used to the animation. But then i got addicted to that kind of animation. Precise character shapes, correct lights and shadows and smoother movements. Those ghosts r really hard to animate so its understandable

What really confuses me is that they live in Japan of all places; most asian countries wear face masks if you have so much as a minor cold out of respect for others not wanting to spread their illness among other benefits. It's commonplace. You're telling me your face has been plastered all over the country and you didn't think to grab a facemask even once while you're on the run? You wouldn't look out of place in Japan if you were unless you're hiding in the woods. And frankly, if I wanted to hide away I'd hide in plain sight in a major city WITH A FACE MASK. Until things die down. Stay on the outskirts sure, but I'd still be in an area populated enough that it would be considered normal to wear a face mask and starting a fight would be dangerous for everyone. Seriously. Cover your face!!

Ya know it would be a lot better to make the experiments an optional job for ajins. I'm sure you get used to dying after a while so getting paid 100k or more to die 3 or 4 times a day with a lunch in between, PTO and benefits for family since they'll be a normal part of society. That way there's ajin in law enforcement, ect.

This is my favorite anime. I’ve watched it three times in the span of one year.

I’ve gotta say that you’re a bit too murder-happy. Killing the old lady and using her house as a base stood out the most to me. If she has any social connections in town, someone will eventually notice she is missing and go to her house to check. It will take a shorter amount of time due to her age and the associated health risks from falls & such. Even if you move on before that happens, murders provoke manhunts. A better response is to accept her hospitality, get some food and intel, then leave before nightfall.

One problem of trying to do a lobotomy (or analogous) on Sato on site is that if they accidentaly kill him in the process, he will be back and they won't be sure, and iirc they're already aware at least about the scream stun capability of ajins, so risking him coming back for 1 second, even disable (tendons cut or whatever) could men death

A problem i have with this kind of anime\manga is that they people suddenly will hate you without any problem. At the start basically they dumped him really easily once they knew he was a ajin, I think they would have a reason to distrust them after what sato did but before that is mind-blowing the facility in which people have to hate him. At least in the manga it seems to correct this, with somewhat redemption of the part of the mother.

Hitting on frontal lobe doesn't kill you immediately. It can cause dementia or personality problems or coma or functional problems but it won't kill you. Hitting your back of the head is what kills you immediately, as the pons/medulla oblongata lies there. Not only are those structures crucial for your respiration but they are in a congested space, meaning that they cannot handle jerk. So what was shown in the show of him falling on the back of his head was his highest chance for death. Not just this misinformation, but there were so many other illogical points and suggestions you made that it was irritating to watch your video.

i ended up watching the anime and manga before this video cuz i forgot i hadnt done so yet and literally the biggest thing that annoyed me was the lack of self-awareness from the characters sometimes. PLEASE how hard was it just to change your shirt, put on a hat and a face mask? The aijins are walking around as if they aren't easily recognizable- and even if they weren't they are _covered_ in blood. I think that was mostly an anime issue since they probably didn't want to animate new shirts but it was something that peeved me. edit: also for later on when Kei and the gang got access to weaponry and protection due to working with Tusaki, why didn't they get some form of protection? Even if they come back to life, it still takes time to reset themselves and that is time wasted on an active battlezone.

you know, if I really had a power to come back to life like in ajin, I'd try some hardcore stuff like jumping with parachute, climbing mountains and other stuff... although "immortality" could make me a bit too reckless

8:58 stupid idea Ajin can’t die you would waste more lives and he can just ignore them and focus on the enemy ajin due to his invisibility making it not only harder for use due to the fact we are the good guys, but also making it easier for him to join the crowd and attack us directly and kill the rest of the people with his ghost as well making it severely uneven battle. Even if I was in the bed he could just kill me first then attack the nurses and due to the fact you control your ghost he could wait on an escape route of mine and grab me himself. A better idea would be to open the window to make it seem like that was the route of my escape while actually hiding under the bed until the fight is over.

I would suggest a how to beat video on Shiki. Both from human and vampire side. Both sides made plenty of mistakes, vampire side plan was doomed from the start even if the succeeded.
