I did buy the HTVRont from the kickstarter program. I love it. I have had no issues with it. I would never had been able to justify buying the Cricut Auto Press at its price. Plus I've seen reviews for it that shows heating issues with it. I do have a 9x12 heat press that works great but its not as easy to operate as the Ront. Great video and very fair

Glad you're loving the htvront heat press too. I'm not sure I'll have much need for my manual press anymore unless I'm pressing an odd shaped item. It's definitely easier on my back too.

Thank you also for letting us know about the wattage of the press. I have bad power supply in this house as it is. Ill have to remember this, and only plug it in when using it.

I've had mine since Oct and love it, I do mostly sublimation with it, and it has worked great. I do have my annoyances though, first, the mat, some of them had the tags sewn upside-down, hence the hard feeling, if you flip the mat over so that the tag is upside-down, no issues with anything leaving dents. My other issue is for larger shirts/hoodies, there just isn't enough room, it really needed to have more room in the back for things to hang over. I know you can turn the items sideways, but sometimes it is just harder to line things up that way. All in all, I am glad I bought it and i do love using it.

Does your HTVRONT Auto press make a cracking or popping sound when it's heating up mine does at 4 different temperatures before reaching the maximum of 390 degrees on the auto number 4 button. Also my machine was received damaged The plastic behind the handle was broken and I have been unable to get any response from HTVront or Walmart who is selling it for them. I'm extremely disappointed as I would otherwise love this machine.

I don’t have HTVRONT Auto press but do own the Cricut Autopress. I may be some of help. This is probably the reason for cracking sounds: Any heatpress should not be plugged in the same outlet with any other devices. Also, heatpress should not be plugged into a surge protector or one with an extension cords. Many outlets are not single out from one another. Meaning, some outlets are connected from one to the next using the same line. So, one outlet way have nothing plugged in but it is sharing the same line (wiring) with another outlet that does have devices plugged. Whereby keep trying different outlets that don’t have anything plugged in. Hope this helps.

@@TheBaconeaterz I'd assume so, the temp goes beyond that required for a DTF transfer. If you wanted to increase the pressure, I've seen people place a board of wood under the Tshirt while pressing. Although I've never personally done any DTF so can't speak from experience.

Hi, I was wondering why the majority of people purchase it from Amazon instead of the official website? Over the last few months, I have watched lotta reviews on heat presses. And not one of them has talked about or compared the quality of customer service and support that you can get for the products that you buy from any other companies. I feel that customer service is part of what you’re paying for when you buy a product and then you spend a great deal of money on a product, you should get good customer support as well. Why is it that not one of you doing a review on any of these heat pressures? Will add that to your review and see how that measures up.
@ItsyBitsyBuild
@ItsyBitsyBuild Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. It's a great point but people can only really review their lived experiences. Being able to objectively review the support a business provides would rely on me having an issue with the product, then I can truly assess the customer experience, timeframes for response and the quality of the resolution provided. The difficult I face is that I haven't had a need to request support from htvront and its hard to manufacture an issue that doesn't yet exist for these purposes. If I went and asked htvront to talk about the support they offer then it wouldn't be an honest review from my own perspective, businesses can say whatever they like and typically paint themselves positively. In the past when I've had a need to contact a business over their products I have included this info in my videos. For example, if you check my Maker 3 honest review and cutting wood with a Cricut Maker, I had support issues with cricut and openly shared these with my viewers. In the case of this video, I've not had any issues thus far but you can bet I'll be vocal about it if that changes in the future. I'm sorry to hear this review wasn't helpful but I really appreciate your insight and perspective. I'll have a think about how this can be incorporated in future in a natural, organic way.

@@ItsyBitsyBuild I totally understand not being able to do research on customer service to find out who’s got the best and the quality. But not even to mention what type of customer service or technical support they have as in for an example I know that Cricut you can either text him call him or email him and you actually get to talk to a person when you talk to them. Compared to other companies that if you’re lucky you have a forum and email for tech-support. This is what I’m talking about is what kind of customer service do they offer for the pricing quality of the machine that they put out or are you basically left in the dark on your own to figure out the problem? That much could be put in your basic information. When you’re comparing machines I have heard about the HTV rocks machine before and I did my own research it looks like for the most part you’re left in the dark to figure it out on your own. I know that they offer by going to their website, a form email or chat for some problems. This isn’t enough. This is what I’m talking about when you state that you were doing an honest with you you need to also put down the types of customer service and tech-support that you can get a hold of a measure that up against each other as well or it’s not a truly honest review and this is just my view on this.

@@Baileygraphics1 Exactly, you get what you pay for so regardless of customer service if I purchase something and it doesn't work I have the choice to return it and move on, or I can speak respectfully, and intelligently, to have a great customer service experience and if I do not at no fault of my own then there is always a "chain of command". I do not pay for great customer service I pay for a "product" the customer service is there for each of us for our product. I am 51 years old and I have never had terrible customer service. Thank God I have the ability to be curious, respectful, and polite. It gets you everywhere in life "You draw more bees with honey"

As there are no perfect heatpress and all with their pros or cons, but your review is dead on honest. And Thank you for an awesome job providing the comparison 👍. I have the Cricut Autopress and without any issues love it. The only exception I had to exchange the first one due to the heatpress top element would not stay close, kept popping back up. Cricut exchange it immediately 🥰. Otherwise, great press. Only reason for the over insane price purchase, I wanted it for Cricut’s outstanding customer services if anything should go wrong. Most companies don’t provide good support or it’s ridiculous have to email and wait weeks for answers. And many companies want us to text or chat online to resolve issues -absolutely crazy! Like Apple, Cricut support provides a real live person in no time. Sometimes paying a premium price is worth it if that company invests a support system providing enough staff when ever you need it. I refuse to buy any products if chat, text, or email is the only form for communication. Why I’m looking for another press? Cricut Autopress limited press size, 15X12. I should had done my homework before buying Cricut Autopress, I thought it was 15X15 -it’s not. Yeah, researching HTVRONT auto press before making the decision to buy. I noticed price has gone up from (US) $279 to $299 -Sadly😢. Hopefully price will come back soon.😎
