Is this on iron on vinyl? What type of paper? Or what exactly can I use this on? It doesn’t have to be mirrored right?
@ItsyBitsyBuild3 күн бұрын
You can layer with whatever material you like, permanent vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, even cardstock. Any material where you want different colours layered on top. If you use HTV then it will need to be mirrored, especially if you add text.

Ok, NOBODY ever states if you can print out on the papers from any epson print ??? I have a Epson 7800 large format canvas printer , A 3880 photo printer and an Epson workforce 7840 office printer ??? Any of these work ??? I am wanting to print out my artwork making it wearable ???
@ItsyBitsyBuild6 күн бұрын
You can use printable inkjet or laser jet heat transfer vinyl but it's still effectively made of paper so will eventually wash off. If you want long lasting, go with a sublimation printer or use layered heat transfer vinyl.

I LOVE the miniature pelmet/box valance you made in this video. It's exactly the sort of pelmet I want to make for my room box project, which is 1:12 scale. I don't have a Cricut machine though, so could you possibly let me know what the measurements are for the pelmet and curtains. Thank you so much. I think I'll save up to buy a Cricut, I didn't realise it could do so many different things. Lots of love from Amanda Jones in Australia
@ItsyBitsyBuildАй бұрын
Thanks for the support. It's a bit difficult to give measurements because it depends on the size of the windows on your individual dollhouse. I'd recommend downloading cricut design space so you can view the project, each shape and the measurements in there. You don't need a Cricut to create a design space account so should be able to view the project and adjust the size according to your dollhouse Window dimensions, just make sure you follow the video instructions for resizing.

Any advice on foam mini fonts
@ItsyBitsyBuildАй бұрын
I'm assuming you mean foam sheets, they're notoriously difficult to cut and I've only had success using the rotary blade, unfortunately it doesn't cut tiny fonts. You could try adding a thicker offset to it to see if it helps.

The fine debossing tool will not detect in my Cricut maker 3. This is the second genuine part purchased from Spotlight and still not working. I have tried all trouble shooting, calling the helpline and still not working. The helpline couldn't figure it out, so they suggested the item was faulty and exchange for another embossing tip, which I did, and still doesn't work. Could the machine be faulty?
@ItsyBitsyBuild2 ай бұрын
Quite a few people have reported tool detection issues since the last cricut design space update. I would contact cricut again and let them know that the issue persists and other users have reported this problem. If you're still under warranty, they should replace the machine as it's not working as advertised. Good luck!

What glue are you using?
@ItsyBitsyBuild2 ай бұрын
For wood, I alternate dabbing wood glue and super glue. The wood glue takes a while to dry so the superglue keeps it held together during the drying process. For everything else I use Helmar's craft glue.

What type of glue do you use? Mine came in the mail today I look forward and your looks fabulous!

For most pieces, I use Helmar's craft glue in a fine tipped glue bottle. For wood, I use a dab of super glue to hold it in place temporarily and wood glue which takes longer to dry.

If you're wanting to do single like writing, you'll need to look under cricut fonts and filter writing fonts to see them. With an image, you should be able to change it to pen and you can draw it with your Cricut.

Thank you for your honest review. I already got the maker and definitely wasn't investing in the maker tree but I was just curious what the difference was. Does Cricut flatten all my b and w images just to make us by the background removing option? Thanks
@ItsyBitsyBuild4 ай бұрын
The upload type depends on whether you're uploading a jpeg, png or svg. If your black and white image is a jpeg or png, it's always going to be 'flattened' and cricut doesn't control that, it's just how the image is created and so it's necessary to remove the background. You can remove the background without a cricut access subscription by using the magic wand tool or removing it before you upload the image in cricut design space. Whereas svg files don't need the background removed. I hope this makes sense.
