I loved my time there, I wish I could have stayed longer. I’m in Surat Thani atm heading to Hat Yai.

It wouldn't be a 3rd Class train if it wasn't late 35 minutes 😂 but for 19 Baht, who cares - that's just incredible value. The scenic views of the countryside and those mountains are amazing, and then the sea too. I don't know how all those kids are going to fit on that train - good time to get off at your stop - and ringing the bell, made me laugh. It was so quiet at the hostel....and it's high season! Great view from the top too. So cheap!! Why were the night market stalls closing up and only 10pm?! Very early for Thailand isn't it. Can't wait to see the next vlog to explore the town.

Yeah you can beat 3rd class mate. I thought Hua was beautiful but Pratchup is on a different level. It’s insane how amazing it is yet it’s so quiet. I think probably why they close so early.

Hello mate, I lived in Bangkok for 7 years, and obviously travelled to many places in that time. Was thoroughly enjoying your Hua Hin vids and of course this one. So many Thai centric vids are all the same, and you know what I mean. I was enjoying a breath of fresh air about Thailand... then I clocked your shirt! And that was it. Been there several times, just overnight stop enroute up or down to phuket and krabi,surat thani,samui etc, i can only recommend monkey mountain and au manao beach or wat pong noi area, you missed a beutifull national park at sam roi yot where the train stop was, you could see it in the distance (big mountain) also your in the narrowest part of thailand there, sing khon is a good place to visit to, its the border village with mayanmar and there's massive big oak furniture shops all close together in an undercover market style,. well worth a visit nice and quiet to cheers.

Loving your vids mate! Have you thought of hitching to Surat Thani? Much cheaper and you can choose when you travel. Might make for some good viewing?! I've hitched several times in Thailand and always been picked up quickly without any issues.

Ordinary trains (3rd class) are about 10baht/hour....not bad....I always use them in Thailand, the most fun 😁

Cool. I retired here in the states 2 years ago. only staying because I have elderly parents I want to spend as much time with them as possible. My goal is 2025 to transition my retirement to Thailand. I plan to live out my life there. I love that you go all over and give us insight to other towns/cities. @@ParkinsonRaw
