The phone does not turn on or charge. When connect charging blinking red light. After opening the phone and checking the vbat voltage contacts, the tester showed 3Ω resistance. After connecting to the vbat power supply, the RF AMP IC shown in the diagram started to heat up. You can see well with the help of a thermal imager. After replacing this RF AMP IC, the short circuit disappeared and the phone started working.

@@tomasitasovc9372 i just found out that one of the surface mount ceramic capacitor is missing, would that be the cause? or it will still turn on even if it still missing one and the issue 7360-2A chip?

There is no capacitor the phone should turn on, unless there is a short in circuit.

@@tomasitasovc9372 "Surface mount ceramic capacitor" is a tiny electronic component and when i compare the motherboard of mate 20 pro by IFIXIT to mine i saw a chipped out surface mount ceramic capacitor, sorry for my english huh

Hello so I was wondering if the screen was not working would the lights still work on the phone because when I call it it rings but can't see anything sometimes its just gotbthe red light and doesn't come on so I was just seeing if it's a screen replacement I need

I have the same problem with my mate 20, but i only get the red light if the phone has a charger inserted into it. Huawei said the problem is with the battery and that the motherboard is gone. I dont know what to do now.

Hello. In my case there was a short circuit on the main board. The RF AMP IC was faulty. After replacing this RF AMP IC, the short circuit disappeared and the phone started working. Check the VBAT circuit.

@@mufeedrahman4899 Check the resistance in the power supply circuit. It will have a very low resistance in that circuit, connect a small power supply of about 1V and it should heat up in which part.
